saturday night some chick asked me to play Michael Jackson (in the middle of a house set too!). Then not only asks me to play a specific artist (I'm sure most djs can relate to how ing anoying that is), she also tells me WHEN to play it.
So play a remix of Bad a few songs later. While the song was playing she comes to the booth and says "Are you gonna play Michael jackson?". Now, if this was some obscure remix when the original song is ed with beyond reconition, then sure, I understand you don't recognize the song. But she asked "are you gonna play michael jackson?" during a very long breakdown that's is pretty much the exact same as the original song.....I wanted to punch her.
This rant really has nothing to do with M.J....more to do with idiots in clubs dpoing idiotic and extremely annoying things. |
