Imagine if the jackson death was the biggest publicity stunt ever for his new tour?
I was just thinking that when i was watching the memorial, and how much it looked like a concert. Honestly, part of me was hoping he would just pop out and start moon walking. |
I actually thought of that before it was completely confirmed, up until about 8pmish that night, the news were saying 'reports' which is their way of saying not confirmed. |

I was thinking the same thing. I'm sure a lot of people were. Too bad it doesn't look like it's true.
I was also wondering if it was a publicity stunt to get him out of the public eye so he could live the rest of his life in peace away from it all. But I thought that was a much less like scenario considering all of the concerts coming up and his love of performning. |

I don't know if this is true or not, but I heard Joe Jackson was selling tickets in front of the Center as well. |

I heard the 12" Smile rendition by Michael Jackson and really liked it.
Germaine did a great job of it, though he looked like he was going to choke up in tears.
Though I prefer the Nat King Cole version more (I always thoughts his was the best) I think had MJ not pulled the plug on the release, it would of been a great seller.

Me either. I just started watching the memorial now b/c I was at work and school all day. They just wheeled in the casket and I'm already bawling.
Edit: Oh no...b/c the guide on my tivo didn't have the memorial service, I only taped the first hour and it cut out after Barry Gordy. Does anyone know where I can watch it online?? :( |
