In the main room Dubfire killed it. he also played transit time from a few years back. Lawler ended his set with Pete Heller's - Simpler. He also played on the 5th year anniversary Hugs n Kiss. Lawler also played a lot of the tunes from his Melkweg set + Essential Mix. So it was nice to relate to.
Oh man what a night, didnt spend too much but still.... I'm still completele drained. But a good +LOOONNG night. |

i had a pretty good time. i really enjoyed ritchie's set even though i was bitter about the set times. i liked dubfire as well, even though i always never want to like him. dunno. stuck around for a bit of lawler in the main room and then made our way upstairs. holy - i was ready to jump over the railing of the skybar. i do not remember it EVER being that packed before. finally we found a spot to hide in the corner where i was practically IN a garbage can but at least i could breathe. and then some douchebag wouldn't stop bothering me and offered to help me jump off the railing if i flashed him. uhhhhh.....no, mate. you're a twat. then we started freezing by the railing so moved closer to the front, where there seemed to be a bit more space. by 7:00 i was ready to leave...inhaling too much of other people's nasty smoke and horrible bodily stenches, but we stuck around until almost the end.
i had way more fun than i thought (inside) but the skybar kind of annoyed the out of me, which is usually the opposite of what happens. i don't think i will go again, i'm over it.
ps. margs you were right - it didn't rain!!! :) |
Whens the last time you got laid????? |

My bad.... was going off of the dude who said "M & Z are killing it" while I rolled my eyes... it was the Junkies according to the timeslots. They still bored me to death no matter who they were.... my apologies to Manzone and Strong. |

I had a wicked time for sure!
LOVED RH's set, just hard pounding bass.......WOW!!!!!! Was pretty cool to see him mixing as well, he usually had 2-3 tracks going or looped and he never sounded like to much.
Really enjoyed Lawler on Skybar as well.... |
