Gotta agree about system though - wtf? I used to be such a fan of trance in KH, now it sounds as bad as the main room - bass WAY too high, impossible to hear any lyrics (especially during the PA)

I moved in and out and around the area in between the speakers - no difference whatsoever, still the same distorted sound. After a weekend at Footwork with its excellent sound, my ears were bleeding last night :(

Pretty much spot on. The only way I can hear a clear sound is all the way at the back wall, but of course that's no fun! Bass is turned up way too high.

Holy what an amazing experience. Started out in KH for a few minutes of warm up with Cosmic Gate, then to main for Richie Hawtin. Good set but the way he was pounding the bass was a bit much for me so I took in a bit of the set from the patio where the intensity was lessened.

Back to KH at 1 am for Mr. Ferry IN Corsten... absolutely fantastic set that carried me along for the full three hours. Fire, Punk, Beautiful, Barber's Adagio!!!

I was completely fulfilled by that set and could have died a happy man at the end of it. Instead I went to Skybar to cool down, chill with some friends, and try to put back some of the 4-5 pounds of water loss.

I seriously thought I was done for the night at that point... but sure enough Menno sucked me right back into those sweet trance grooves, and I hit a second wind for an hour or so. Left smiling ear to ear.

Thanks to everyone for being a part of the night.

RH was dark and dirty; hard and loud.
Sharam was basically bass in, bass out.
Ferry played the best trance Ive heard in a while.

But instead of rummaging through my shoes for drugs and weapons they should've taken a sniff under the arms of each patron.

Ive never smelt such a popourri of rotted dead under arm dreads in all my life.

the difference?

I meant dubfire; they were a duo. Not a far off mistype.

The point however is unchanged, his music was uneventful.

i dunno.. i think that is a pretty big mistype considering they are two totally different people.

Gabriel & Dresden... I have no clue which one is Gabriel and which one is Dresden. Understandable error IMO.
