2 day VIP tickets purchased. The VIP deal was amazing last year, so I have to do it again!

My friends & I like to arrive in the evening... the 2am close is a deal breaker for us. Lame.
I'll happily deal with the cluster of it all, high drink & parking prices are expected unfortunately, but 2am cutoff is an automatic thumbs down. I don't even go to clubs that close at 2am, because I'm never ready to leave at that time. Maybe if I lived in L.A.... but coming from out of town - no thanks. |

The line at EDC2008 was truly awful. I was in line at 10:30pm-midnight at EDC2008 (my first rave :)). The line took 1.5 hours to move ~100 yards. |
I was there in 08 and it indeed was the cluster from hell! it took me and my two buddies (all with GA tickets) almost 3 hours to get in... and we got there at like 4:30pm. my other buddy, who had VIP walked in right away, and we didn't even see him again until after the party was over! after that experience, i swore i'd always roll VIP, just to avoid the lines. but believe me the amount of people in line during the day isn't even close to half of the amount of people that were there after dark. come on, we all know thats when the freaks come out! :D |

At least Insomniac learned from this mistake and EDC2009 was much smoother... except for the whole shutting down the Coliseum for an hour on Saturday :P |
