so now that the line up is set, whats the word on any after parties? what do avalon and vanguard have going on either night, and is it even worth it trying to make it to one of those clubs after EDC? either way i'm sure a lot of us are going to want to after given the damn thing ends at 2 this year

This is correct.

B.E.P. go wayyyyy back in the LA rave scene. At any givin massive in the late 90's and early 00's you would run into mainly Taboo and Will sometimes Apl.De.Ap would be running around there.

I probably ran into Taboo like 3 times (at massives) with in a matter of a year. He was REALLYY down to earth guy back then. I would say what up to him at a party, and when he would leave if he saw me he would come up and say peace to me. I hope he's still that grounded like back then...

this is kind of a cool story. An underground hip hop artist and a small time rave promoter who both worked together and came up at the same time. those are the kind of stories that many people dream about doing.

Ya there was actually another male in that group, but as soon as the group started growing, he went missing. But like i said, they were superrrrr chill real cool. After thinking about it, im going to ask my buddy Jerry if he still has a picture we took with them.

It's me, my buddy jerry will and taboo. Whats epic about the picture is that Will is rolling superrrrr hard and Taboo is just wasted drunk haha. Not sure what party it was, but its out side of the LA Sports arena under the huge walk way. The picture is in full 4x6 glory lol

And this stuff only happens in LA...

I don't know if anything like this has been brought up yet but if so I thought I'd bring it up again ;)

I just attended Lightning in a Bottle last weekend and I must say that it was by far the most amazing festival that I've ever been to.

I was wondering that if anyone from Insomniac has thought about doing ins and outs at the festival since it starts so early in the day and ends so late in the evening or early morning for that matter. This was very conveniant at LIB and I think it would something to consider for these types of Festivals like EDC. Being able to leave around 9 or so to re group and come back to finish off the night would just be so conveniant. I know it's way easier said than done but it's just some food for thought :)

Assuming there were ins and outs, if you left at 9pm and came back at 10pm it probably would take you a while to get back in. At that time lines at EDC can take quite a long time to get through unless you are willing to hop barricades and cut.

so it seems they got Lee Burridge at Avalon on Sat. don't know exactly how exciting that is...

N and outs wouldn't work unless they changed and upgraded their entrances, which costs a lot of money. And this is LA were talking about (they have to male as much money as possible for their cocaine habbits :)), you can't even dream of a change like that.

lee burridge always brings the heat. he's actually playing across the border @ hardpop in juarez on the 25th of june. if i wasn't goin to edc i'd be there
