Do ticket locations charge a service fee like online?
For example Ticketmaster has tix for $75, plus $12.40 in fees, so if i buy 4 tix thats a LOT of extra money, i'd rather drive 1.5hrs to buy them in SF..... |

typically they do not... and they typically take cash only.
call the store ahead of time and they will verify with you the price and if they have some still in stock or are sold out which can happen... |

Not sure if you have to pay a conveniece fee for EDC if you pick up the ticket at a remote ticket location (ie. a store), but I've def had to pay for them in the past for other events. I think the store has to add it on to make any money...probably just how they make any profit off of it in those cases.
So yeah, be sure to call! Hopefully there's none for EDC tix.
The venue's box office is usually where there's no service fee. Butit's usuaully not convenient to get to them. :-p |
