basically run a 359 room five star establishment, meeting guests ensuring guest satifaction, getting things done smoothly while i manage front desk, bell service, concierge, guest relations, engineering. Do briefings, report to Executive Assistant Manager, after him you have the GM. He has a secretary.

didn't read this disaster of a thread, but plain and simple- a degree will get your foot in the door for a job if you don't have extensive, relevant experience in whatever field you're applying for. a degree will also give you an advantage over others who don't have one.

this should be obvious though.

Come on Danny, you know thats a BS term to make a job thats a secretary, clerk, or front desk assistant/manager look more important than it is?

Are you the people that respond to the bell at a hotel front desk?

"Porter, porter I do say, please see that my bags get safely to my suite"

Aren't you a stupid wop guido too? I mean I guess that would make sense doing menial tasks like that.

Hah posted too fast. Yep just as I thought, a hotel bitch.

Did you go to school for this too Danny? Huh? How was that education? Seems really fulfilling!

You know that Slylee held the same job title as you right?
Danny Ocean
I did actually, a tier 1 school in Switzerland, way above Cornell in the hospitality department. Let me know when you have done anything remotely as accomplishing. You can start by finishing up high school, since you are far from a prodigy.
And if secretaries get to eat at the hotel's main restaurant for free, as well ad not paying for my apartment, then im sure a lot of them are trying to apply.

Same here.

Being a big kid sucks sometimes. I wouldn't trade independence for anything though. It's one thing you are absolutely ignorant of.

Not to mention i have gotten to travel since i was 21, and i have not lived with my parents since then, so ive seen the world.

Slylee was a receptionist, no need to demean her job.

So you went to a tier 1 school to be a hotel porter...? ffs. That is just ing sad. I don't give a if I don't have your degree in hospitality (isn't that the same degree as bending over?) because it sounds like a menial task that I'd never end up doing anyways.
