I will not be dragged into a flame war. I have been there and done that, and it is useless.
I will clarify what i said, maybe you didn't read it correctly? I never said YOU were dumb, i said your post was dumb.
I am not insulting you as a person, i am taking issue with what you have written, which i know is untrue, and i feel is either willfully ignorant, or at best simply misinformed.
now, please don't insult me either, and we can keep this civil. I fully invite you to challenge me on my facts though, on anything i post. in fact, i would be happy if you could show me something i have missed. I doubt it though, i have done a lot of research.
For example, after reading your response, i took a lunch break. I printed off the following news stories:
http://news.independent.co.uk/world...sp?story=326520
http://www.timesonline.co.uk/articl...-391008,00.html
http://www.smh.com.au/articles/2002...9114137295.html
http://www.mirror.co.uk/news/allnew...ll&siteid=50143
http://www.iht.com/articles/68415.html
I read these while i ate my lunch, and reflected on the future of this war, and what is going to happen in iraq. this took me half an hour, and then i got back here. now, you are asking me to show you where you are wrong. i have precious little of my lunch break left, but, just to prove a point, i will make a few quick points.

and if i can recall correctley...each and every person in the WTC, Pentagon and the plance in Pennsylvania did not in anyway fund or condone it either
|
wrong. each and every person working in the WTC, and pentagon, pay taxes and contribute to the war efforts with their money. does this mean they deserve to die? no. but they did fund it, and by not standing up for past atrocities, and the ones being committed now, they are also condoning it.
This was only the quickest and easiest shot i could take at you, to dismantle your entire post would take me all day, and frankly, you aren't worth the time.
There is one more thing i would like to take issue with however.

if you chose the first then you die...if you choose the 2nd u may still die...but you did your best and your survival rate greatley improoved |
OK. i see your logic here. BUT, the situation with iraq is not quite how you have described it. heres my interpretation of the situation.
You are sitting in a bar. your dad used to come to this bar once, about 8 years ago. some dude was picking on this little guy, so your dad beat the crap out of the dude. the guy got some good shots in, and put up a good fight, but in the end, he was beaten badly. your dad let him live, just barely though.
so, your sitting there, having a drink with all your buddies, everyone is having fun. the bartender is your friend, and gives you whatever you want, because he likes you, because you spend way more than anyone else. everyone in the bar is your friend, either because you do favors for them, or because they are afraid of you.
suddenly, someone comes up from behind you and kicks you in the nuts. you reel in pain, and scream in anger. you turn around and see the guy running away, and you chase him. he runs out of the bar, and into another building.
you chase him down the street, and into the other building. but, you can't find him. so, you kill everyone in the building, killing man, woman and child in your drunken righteous rage. after almost a year, you still haven't found him.
you go back to the bar, pop open a budweiser and start spreading stories about how, you are winning the war, the world will be safe from dirty nut-kickers everywhere, and you won't rest until every one of those dirty bastards is dead. everyone nervously agrees with you, as they watch the crusted blood on your hands dry.
then you notice over in the corner, the guy sitting there by himself. it's the guy your daddy beat up. he looks healthy and ready for revenge.
you get the bouncer of the bar to go over and search the guy. the bouncer is your buddy too of course, and he will do whatever you want as long as you pad his pocket a little.
so, he searchs him, violently. the bouncer says, "it's cavity search time" and throws him bent over the bar, and rips off his pants. the dude struggles a bit, but, the gloved hand reaches up there anyway. he manages to squirm away, and you suspect he might have somethign hidden way up there the bouncer didn't have time to find.
someone whispers in your ear, "hey, i saw him out back trying to sharpen a stick." someone else says they saw him picking up rocks. and another guy says he tried to buy a gun from a friend of his a few years back. your buddies start to get worried. he might have a gun!
you insist the bouncer goes for another search. the guy hides in the corner, he doesn't want to go through that again.
you tell the bar that he could be a threat, he might have a gun.
you try to raise support to get rid of this dangerous threat to the whole bar.
all the while, you have a bowie knife in your pocket, a handgun in your other pocket, an AK47 slung over your back, a grenade launcher on the table, and a tank parked outside. you also have every bar in the whole town full of people with the same, willing to fight for you.
now..
this is where we sit. you are about to kill this guy. just in case, he had a gun, and could be a threat. and the whole rest of the bar is going to sit back and watch you do it..
i'm not scared of the guy that might have a gun. i'm scared of the guy who lives right beside me, and i know has one.
there.. one hours work, 3 minutes over time. I'm done with you tiesto14, don't expect another response unless you have something worth responding to. |

yep... and these same countries, while burning american flags and teaching their children how evil the U.S. is, still beg us for foreign aid. they want us to fund their food and living situations, yet talk about how evil we are. it kind of bothers me.
personally, ive always thought we should just not help any other country, and be self sufficient. if third world countries are going to keep sucking away my taxpayers money while condemning us in the same breath... lets just pull out and let them kill themselves off.
|
Your country's taxpayers aren't losing that big of a percentage out of ther pocket to foreign aid compared to other countries. In fact the UN is trying to get the states to pay more.
TRUST ME. i did the research for a previous thread. And these countries pay you back with interest (or try to atleast) in the end anyways. :P |

like i just pmed to tiesto14, its futile continuing this thread, and we both should stop contributing. because no matter what any american says in this thread, it will get torn apart by 10 anti-american people. we are very obviously outnumbered by basically everyone on the forum. so, shrug.
kind of like me going onto a forum full of people who despise rap music, and starting a thread about how rap music really is good. same outcome. |

- Soviet-designed T-72 Tanks
- Helicopter gunships
- Surface-to-air missiles
- Short-range cruise/tacticle missiles
chemical/biological - all amounts are DECLARED amounts by the government of Iraq, produced by the end of the Gulf War (who knows what the actual amounts are now  ):
>Biological Warfare
- Anthrax - 22,457 gallons
- Botulinum Toxin - 100,396 gallons
- Aflatoxin - 581 gallons
- Gas Gangrene - 900 gallons
>Chemical Warfare
- VX Nerve Gas - 4 metric tons (intelligence estimate: 200+ tons
- Sarin - 100-150 metric tons (intelligence estimate: up to 350 tons
- Mustard Gas - 500-600 metric tons (intelligence estimate: up to 800 tons
i'd say thats more than enough reason, not even including nuclear weaponry he may have up his sleeve. |

he has no nuclear weapons....or the delivery systems for that to endanger the west....I pity the poor souls that have to go and fight in Iraq....there's gonna be some serious .
Sothis I'm not anti-american....I'm just one of those nasty ban the bomb pacifists that Mr Bush seems to hate so much...and i thought the fact we (yes unfortuneately the UK was involved as well) carpet bombed that region was ing cowardly...we've just increased the problem....and not tackled the cause...and I think we all know the original cause of the problem  |

hey John..i respect your view point....even though i disagree on some aspects....but calling my post dumb and saying its the dumbest thing u have read on the boards is in fact an insult...u could of refrained from the manner inwhich u said it...u know that...

they where unwilling and unknowing of it...i lost friends in the WTC that where working that day...,.they where neither political, religous or aware of anything going on with a war or Osama Bin Laden...they where average people goign to work ...plain and simple....my friends who died that day DID NOT CONDONE any such thing..
and if thats your rationale..well then buddy most every human being walking the planet condoned and funded it..because at 1 point or another we all contribute a dollar to the US government..whether u live here or not...atleast 1 point in your life u have bought a good from the U.S.....so inturn your saying that I personally contributed to the attacks?..Sothis contributed?..Renegade contributed?..and you yourself contributed?...because thats what your saying sicne we have all bought US good and payed some form of tax to America and none of us apparently are standing up and doing anything...
so in other words if a person doesnt want to be involved in an attack on the United States they better not buy anything from the U.S. or work in the U.S.?...or did i read what u said wrong?

now i see what your trying to say...and your acting as if the U.S. is saying get every Afghanistan u can find if u cant find Osama..but thats simply not true...yes there have been civilian casualties..they are not done on purpose...but it is a war effort and its inevitable that some will die....show me one single war where civilians havent died and i will not contest it anymore...but you cant so your wrong....noone wants the innocent to die...the only people who do are the Taliban and Osama and terrorists,,not the U.S. government..dont be absurd.
the rest about Iraq..i understand what u mean...but its not jus the U.S. who wants to search his weapons..its NATO/UN...not jus America...i would hope that u would also because eventually..IF and only IF in thew slight possible risk that Iraq can beat America in a war..they will then look elsehwere to with people...so it effects everyone...not just us..but your too blind to see that..
hopefully u will never see what the world would be like without America....and in the unlikely event that Iraq or any terrorist group does finish off America...u will then see how they feel as if they are the most powerful cus they beat America..then you know what they do..they take over the world..because if they can beat America..they sure as will kill every other country easy as pie...then u will wish ur views where different..but whatever...
i still love how u said the people in the WTC dug their own graves (in a way) because they pay taxs...that was funny...and also insulting ebcause then your saying i am also involved..but then again that means every one in the world is..especially computer users since we all use MS software...and u call me dumb....LOL |
