He did a 6 hour set last time he was there if i remember correctly. He was okay that night, last 2 hours were good. I'll deff go check it out again.

Last time I saw him was in 2011 at Terminal 5. He only played for like 2-3 hours but that night was easily one of the best shows I've been to since then.
His new album Evolution really wasn't my thing, but I did enjoy listening to his Ultra set. Definitely is more cheesy than he used to be but I still think he's great.

here's a clip from last sunday i'd call trance. i'd say there's still some but they're moments not overall sound.
another recent clip i ran into -
banging beats in between melodic breakdowns sound mostly electro tho, less trance-techno driven like in the old days. still there's something uniquely pvd where the highest energy meets big uplifting melodies still alive today

PVD was never just Trance
PVD always blended techno and trance in the late 90s and early 2ks, thats why I liked his style.
