Funy you should say that, my cousin has a few Portugese and Brazillian friends and he says there are a few funny similarities b/w Russian and Portugese languages... did you find the Russian culture very different from Brazillian? |

Yes, there are some similarities. First, except for a couple of vowels in each language, the Russian phonemes are almost the same we have in Portuguese. Also, we do have something close to "zakanie" and "zikanie" in Brazilian Portuguese (although our zakanie is different: instead of changing "O" for "A", we often change "O" for "U"), not to mention some simple words that sound alike.
As for the culture, except for some minor differences regarding religion and cullinaire (we're not orthodox and everything Russian I ate was very different from what I'm used to), I never noticed anything "different" or "exotic" in Russian culture. Oh, one odd thing: both Brasilia and Moscow are considered the "3rd Rome". Don't ask me how it happened, it just did :p
ps.: What is Tarhun made of? I was told it's made of mint but it tastes like lemon jelly :toothless |

Bonjour, je m'appelle Streakfury et j'habite dans une grand maison pres de Cambridge. J'ai 19 ans et j'ai un frere s'appelle Kris et une soeur s'appelle Kiera. J'adore tranceaddict parce que c'est tres bon!! Je n'adore pas musique de pop parce que c'est tres, tres faux.
