Hahaha yeah really...it's not that I'm upset that someone doesn't like Tiesto, I don't think he needs to prove anything to anyone or me defending him...but I get pissed at stupid remarks that come out of an ass that personally are directed to me...such as stupid fans that adore him and if he takes a dump then it's a stoke of brilliance or whatever and etc and etc...

meh anyways you are right, case closed...(I hope)
TheVrk
i feel ya bro, u have 2 defend urself when attacked.....
his stubbornness and lack of an open mind will never let him ENJOY music, just hate success.
at least we know he'll never be at any great shows (LoL for ex.) to try to ruin our night.:D

Yep, you got it. I'm totally closed-minded, I never go out to any parties, and I never enjoy the music. I'm just out to ruin everybody's night. YOU CAUGHT ME.

...or, maybe you just shouldn't make assumptions about someone you've never met who also happens to have been around here a lot longer than you. It's one thing to be making your points about Tiesto but your *personal* comments which have no basis whatsoever make you, like starsearcher, look like a complete ing dumbass. Why don't you read the reviews of Astral Projection and see who - myself or Durafei - "enjoyed" that party. In fact, go ahead and read ANY review and see how often I complain about the DJ. You may be unpleasantly surprised, based on the opinions you've obviously formed from JUST this thread, on who does most of the whining around here.

Everybody loves to be a bigshot on the message board. Pretty easy to take shots at someone behind a computer screen isn't it? I thought I heard someone on this board say good things about you but now I see that you're a condescending prick who I'm definitely hoping NOT to meet. Iliya and I are capable of reconciling our differences without resorting to personal attacks - you seem to have a problem in that area.

As for who else should be opening for the olympics, how the hell should I know. I don't think trance music is really appropriate for that kind of thing anyway - they should have a live band like most important events do, not a DJ.

Edit: about the TIC DVD and concert, you're right, what they showed on the DVD was only a small part of a bigger picture. But wouldn't it be natural to assume that the DVD would be showing Tiesto (and the concert itself) at their best, not worst?
TheVrk
bro, honestly, u really need to relax.

all i said about u is that ur lack of an open mind and stubbornness will never let u enjoy music....
YOU, on the other hand, called me a condescending prick:conf:

so ur stubborn, so what? so am i, so are most of us in different ways. but YOU gotta be the big shot that u claim I am by calling me a prick....hmmmmmm...:nervous:

i still haven offended u, even after ur in TIRADE over my post.

ask ANYBODY thats met me, NO ENEMIES here. nothing but POSITIVE energy from me....
u on the other hand have made 4 or 5 just on this one single thread. i can only imagine how many more u have.:D

That's because the question doesn't make sense. You keep asking what other DJ should be in his position and I keep saying that it's simply not a position for a DJ to play in. Prerecorded music is not in the spirit of the olypmics, it should be live.

I never even specifically said that Tiesto shouldn't be performing there. My point was originally addressed to the idiot comment that everybody who hates Tiesto only hates him because of his success, which I believe I've proven is total bull. There have been hundreds of other artists with just as much success (who cares whether or not those artists were "DJs", that's completely irrelevant to this discussion) who people don't irrationally "hate".

All the power to Tiesto for doing the gig. I'm sure he'll blow the roof off. It proves to me that he'll do anything for money, but I never said he didn't earn his popularity - just that he's become delusional as a result.

TheVrk, what the are you smoking, how is what you said not condensing and/or offensive? I suppose you just believe that if it comes out of you then it's OK but if it comes out of someone else it's a problem?

I'm sure I've made *tons* of new enemies from this thread. not.

, Tiesto-ism is like some kind of new religion - you insult their God and you insult them. You can never say a bad word about Tiesto otherwise they'll get medieval on your heiney. I swear I've never before seen such fanatical devotion to a god damn *DJ!* What the hell is wrong with people?

a) I'm still struggling to find where exactly TheVrk attacked you DigiNut...
b) I'm still also struggling to find where did I attack you...
c) I agree with what St_Andrew just said, no point retyping it...
d) All the shots from behind the comptuer screen have so far been made by YOU...

So if they approached any other DJ than Tiesto you would have said he sold out for money too?

*EDIT*

Did you even read the press release WHY a DJ was chosen to headline the opening ceremonies?

How do you connect "playing at an olympic event" to "he'll do anything for money" ???

Sure, if he started spinning hip-hop(btw, there is A LOT MORE money in hip-hop), then yeah you could say "he'll do anything for money".
But spinning TRANCE at an olympic event is FAR FAR from "he'll do anything for money".

As far as him becoming delusional.. It's obvious that Tiesto has changed as a result of all this popularity. And possibly not for the best.

But you know what: Tiesto doesn't have time to attend to every single fan now because he's got so many of them. All he can try and do is satisfy as many as possible. I think he's doing a good job at that!

Yeah I really don't think he even gets paid for this...
