I thought he only played gay vocal diva house...so it's only SLIGHTLY commercial cheese!!

In anycase.. this is pointless and stupid argument.

My whole point here is that you shouldn't really be bashing Tiesto for this. Invitation to spin at such an important event clearly means a lot for Tiesto, but more importantly this invitation means that Trance music is finally being accepted by mainstream public.

Some of you maybe dissapointed by this. I'm really happy ! In Holland, Trance has been mainstream for a while now - and look what kind of parties they have there: Dance Valley, Mysteryland, Innercity, Trance Energy etc etc.

So yeah.. Tiesto deserves to be there. He's worked hard for the past 10 years, and definitely had the most success out of all DJs out there.

the only thing that is important to him is his bank account...he doesnt care where he plays so long as he gets a load of $$$ for it...thats what i mean when i say he's a puppet dj...

LOOOOL!!!!! i highly doubt that!! i'd tip on the fact that this will make him insane $$$, plus give him world-wide 'public' exposure! the guy is not stupid. he taps into all the 'right' sources to make himself look like god and live like a king! don't be so naive! he won't accept any gig unless he gets a min. of $x ... :o

And how do you know all this ???

If that is true, why is he taking a month long break from DJing before Tiesto in Concert 2. Clearly he would make a lot more money if he continued his 4 gigs/week schedule during that month.

Honestly, don't post BS like this, when you clearly don't know half the story.

Yes! This list is a popularity contest. Hence Tiesto is spinning at this Olympic Event, and not Richard Raiban or Sasha or Digweed.

:stongue: :stongue: :stongue:

the money that he makes for events like this is the reason why he can afford to take a break from spinning. infact im sure he could retire now if he wanted too. dont be telling me to not post bs when you yourself are doing the same thing...

b/c his pockets are about as full as an oil sheikh's.. so yea he can 'afford' to take some time off.

it's common knowledge that he has refused to play in the past ... ARIA being one of them!

u still don't get it do you? it's a P-o-p-ularity contest for the common joe doe, who is uneducated about EDM ...HENCE, yes, you're right you would definitely NOT find Richard Raiban or Sasha or Digweed spinning there b/c for them music is not about earning #1 status nor making mad cash ...but about the LOVE & QUALITY for the music! ;)
