Oh and go 'Stros! What a great effort. I have $100 on them to win the NLCS ever since the beginning of the season. I just about gave up my money because I didn't even think they'd pull off the wildcard. But what a gutsy effort without Pettite. If Pettite was healthy I didn't think anyone could beat them, even in the AL.

Petite in my opinion wouldn't have done much for the Stro's anyways. He started off this season as a mediocre pitcher. He only really looked like a 'great' pitcher because he played for the Yankees in which they were 9 players deep in their offense. Any pitcher for the Yankees will "look" good.

And as for my Astros, hell freakin yeah. I think I woke up a couple neighbors when Kent knocked the outta that ball. I hate to predict, even against the Cardinals, but, with Clemens pitching in Game 6, I think this deal is pretty much done.

Yankees v. Astros in the World Series.

Lets hope clemens feels good though because if he does pitch it will be on 3 days rest. I say let him rest up...bring out Munro. Munro did good last time around..it was the bullpen who caused him lost. Save rested clemens for game 7 if neccessary. But if he feels good let him rip it on game 6. But since he pitched 7 deep innings Id think otherwise

GOOOOO STROOOS!

My Prediction: Lieber will perform to near brilliance again...holding the Red Sox to 1 or 2 runs in a close game. Gordon and Rivera will redeem themselves and save the game.

Lieber or Matsui for ALCS MVP.:)

Of course...I could be wrong.

Last time I checked, so are the Yankees. Gordon was used now three games in a row, doubt he'd go a fourth. Rivera was used twice in a row. And he's not 30 anymore. So who knows if he'll be allowed to pitch again.

So this game really all biols down to which starter can go longer. Cause once each team gets into it's bullpen, it's going to get real ugly, real fast.

But this is do or die for Boston, so they'll use anybody. Schilling, in my opinion, won't last long in there. That injury he has is far too serious and we all know he can't pitch like he should like that. If Lieber gives 7 plus innings and has the lead, Rivera has to go in. He would have saved the game had he been brought on to face Ortiz in the 8th. Torre has made a few mistakes in this series that I've never seen him make.

SOX WIN!

The first team to force a Game 7.. coming from a 3-0 nothing deficit!!!

Schilling was fantastic tonight. As was Arroyo and Foulke (again).

Also, I've never liked Rodriguez. But after that incident, I have lost all the respect I had for him. That was a disgrace. He really better hear it from Torre, Bernie, and Jeter because that was just uncalled for.

Should be an interesting game tomorrow.

Schilling was amazing. He pretty much pulled himself after 7 solid innings, but that's all we could ask for. Guess the circumstances count more than the injury. I knew Leiber couldn't pitch as well as he did in Game 2, that's the best he could ever give and he must be commended for that, but tonight he gave up the game winner to the worst batter on the Red Sox.

Ditto. Rodriguez is a bitch. All he had to do was run through it and get Jeter to second, but he destroyed the inning for them. That's the most idiotic play I've ever seen in the playoffs. More and more I'm so thankful they didn't make that trade, I don't want that kind of player on my team, no matter how good he is.

The umpires did a fantastic job tonight. Francona said Lowe will probably start instead of Wakefield which I think is a mistake, but we'll see how he does. Even if he gets 5 innings and get Wakefield out of the bullpen, the Red Sox have a great chance of winning.

My brother made the perfect analogy of Alex Rodgiguez on the Yankees.

He is that kid in HS who finally gets accepted by the 'cool crowd.' So, every chance he gets, he tries to show off. The Tek fight first, now this. I could picture him if he got away with that.

A-Hole: Yeah guys! You liked that move? Gotta win anyway we can, right?
Jeter: You're an a-hole, a-hole. That's not how we do things around here. Phantom tags are okay... but not that.
A-Hole: Yeah... but, we gotta win at all costs. Yeah!
Bernie: Damn... I wish we had Boonie back.
Jeter: Yeah, this kid's a dork.

I actually think it's a stupid rule. You can do whatever it takes to get to second, third or home, but you have to run like a pansy to first for fear of "interference"?? Arod should have just put his shoulder right into Arroyo, who didn't pitch that well...more a case of Arod and Sheffield stinking up the place.

The Yankee bats are deader than . At least Rivera and Gordon got the day off for tomorrow, which is the only positive I can find out of this game. Schilling pitched his ass off, but then had to go into the typical bible bashing rant about how God gave him the strength, yadda yadda yadda.

Oh well...I guess after 26 World Series and 86 years of beating Boston's pants off, it's time New York let one get away. But it aint over yet...this could be the biggest Red Sox tease ever.

Kudos to the umpires, very brave to admit they got it wrong at first not once but twice. And on both ocassions they changed it to the right decision, well done!
