okay, on a whole the cardinals my have the best pitching staff, but i can't even tell you who their "ace" is...they will most likely get to the world series, but which cardinal pitcher can match up against

Chris Carpenter isn't ANY guy because he's hurt now. But the best pitching staff could probably go to the Red Sox. If the Dodgers had Penny, I'd say them. But:
Schilling
Pedro
Wakefield (who was a monster last postseason. Does cold weather make knuckles better?)
Arroyo

They have the best numbers, but we'll see how they pitch. Pedro is a headcase atm, and hasn't had a good outing in his last 4 games. If only Lowe was pitching like he was two years ago, when he had the best record over two years. As long as Wakefield pitches like he did last postseason and Pedro pitches like everyone knows he can, it's all over. the Bambino, baby! |

Carpenter isnt even scheduled to start in any of the DS games :wtf:
sometimes an ACE pitcher comes alive during this time, last year we didnt really know if Beckett was our ace going into the playoffs but he acted like one once it began.Matt Morris is the one guy needs to play like his old self again, he s been to incosistant this year. |
