PS. I know in your feeble little mind you think you're helping Cyrus by echoing everything he says and punctuating it with your very own brand of "Yeeeeaaah!" ( In characteristic Little John style ). But take it from a neutral observer, he doesn't need a retardo hype man to detract from his comments. Cyrus to his credit, displays flashes of independant thought and the ability to voice even his most passionate views in a way that the rest of us can comprehend. It's sad that any of us (including myself now that I've caved and posted on this thread) find more value in debating a completely trivial non-issue as: what is pictured on our money then being concerned....and infinitely more valuable, ACTIVE in fixing issues that actually effect out lives.
The other issues mentioned here are REAL and need addressing. Immigration, Welfare and unbalanced Demographics are real ongoing concerns to Canadians WHO CARE about this country. That stands for both those of us who know it as our only home and those valued people who have come from all points to try to better themselves, their families and HOPEFULLY this great country via their own unique life imprint.
The fact that this thread has de-evolved in so many ways at different times into school yard name calling does nothing to address these issues and is an insult (at the very least) to the optimistic and positive view I had to this forum community. It is a sad reflection of people's biases and choice of incitment and provokation over humble and respectful debate.
I for one will not stand for it. Anyone here who feels they need to personally attack or use language that negates their place here should reconsider their base and ugly mindset.
And to those who will cry this post as a pacifist whine, worthless of consideration and have said that people here often attack others yet, when in person do nothing.....I contend, I am VERY easy to find.

Incidentally, I had a short conversation with two coworkers today, one emigrated from Malaysia in the 1980s and another came from Europe just a short time ago. It may shock you all very much to know that hardworking immigrants like them (and let me assure you they are hardworking, the former puts in 80 hour weeks sometimes) also hate our present immigration system and are very resentful of the masses coming into our country to scam the government while doing no work.
One was actually telling me a story about a recent immigrant she met who was twice my weight, on welfare, and bragging to everyone about his beautiful apartment, his BMW, and his new ESPRESSO CUPS that just came in. And about how (gasp) he DIDN'T HAVE TO WORK FOR ANY OF IT!
This is the attitude, folks - these people are parasites. It makes me sick to think that even one penny of my earnings is going to support these ******s, who are almost universally the same ones who show utter contempt for our country and refer to the Queen as a C.unt. |
