Again, you like nooben are trying so hard to make me fall into your childish trap and ruin the credible evidence and reasoning I established in this thread. I made my case and proved my point. When you can tell me where my arguments I made in this thread are amiss than I will respond to you, otherwise, I will ignore you 15 year old behavior. |
Like I said, you're always right. |

Not always but in this case there is no defense for the other side of the argument unless you want to resort to child games. |

I personally love child games. You know, those games you play when you are young, either in gym class or on the playground with friends. Dave, have you ever played bombardment or knockout? Those two games are my personal favorites and own hands down. How about kickball or touch football? Man, those were some good times. What do you think, Dave?
Oh , remember pogs and hacky sacks? |

Than people ask me why I keep repeating myself in certain threads.

Neh, i'm not taking any sides. I haven't read the 236 posts. I just found the line funny.
I just quickly glanced and some posts now though.
Sharing or buying illegal music copies (mp3s, pirate cds, or anything else) does hurt legal music. In cases where the music consumers have the choice between illegal and legal copies, then illegal files may reduce the sales of legal ones, because some illegal trading/purchases do displace legal purchases. In cases where consumers don't have access to legal copies, the impact will be less. In any case, the trading and purchasing of illegal copies removes incentives to creation and marketing, if actual sales can't even cover expenses. Any quick and sound analysis reveals that.
In some cases, the trading/purchasing of illegal copies may actually benefit some artists by reducing the initial costs of listening to the artists' music, therby increasing the number of people exposed to the music who can later make legal purchases of products that have more value. But because radio fulfills this role in similar respects, this argument to support the illegal trading/purchasing of illegal copies, is not necessarily good one.
Trading or purchasing illegal copies hurts the music industry. |
