I think that the bottom half of the lineup is a huge liability, yes. Juiceambi either strikes out or walks. Cano is batting .080, he's not ready.
I'm said it COULD be the start of a turnaround. But don't believe me..... Well.. Ming Wang goes tomorrow. We'll see. I want Sierra back to DH and spot LF. Womack needs to return to second. Maybe Sanchez should play a little more, he's got a small spark at the moment.
Tino is on fire! :D |
and in 98 they won 125 games and hardly had anyone you would consider to be a "power hitter"...every year they have problems and every year they overcome it...i dont want to predict anything, but ill definitely worry less if they win tonight... |

Coincidence that the Yankees first 3 game winning streak comes with 2 games against the worst offense in baseball and 1 game against another very poor offensive team?
Just adding fuel to the fire, boys.
If I were a Yankee fan, I would not think they turned anything around until they beat a team like the Twins or Angels and Rangers or Orioles or Red Sox... |

Sure Mr. Salty.... but I sure didn't like losing 3/4 to Tampa Bay either right before Oakland.
Coincidence or not, wins provide confidence. Yanks still have lots of talented players. Nice to see that Yanks considering sending Juiceboy down to the minors. How degrading....
Matsui playing some sparkling CF today. Ming Wang pitching really well today also (but who doesn't against Seattle). Go Asians!
LET's GO TINO!!! |

| Giambi said no to going to the minors. This is going to get UG-LY. Although... it already is. |

I didn't see that either. Gammons begs him to go to the minors in the little insert article to Buster Olney's plea.
This thread should flesh out into a Mets and/or Yankees thread. There really isn't much else talked about on this board and it's mostly only a few posters. Oh well, I don't care... it beats countless other stupid threads. |

| It's not officially what happened, but that is basically what Cashman said after the whole Giambi talking to thingy. |

C'mon..... like 75% of my post above was positive. Shamez doesn't even like the Yankees so why should he be positive? I am a realist, not pessimist or optimist. I point out the good and bad. I'm the one who said this COULD be a turnaround but got questioned for that. So....
kiss my big white ass! |
