the yankees are 2nd and i should grow up why cause im not a mets fan and hate the yankees, The mets fan act like childing putting down a team that is good but cant see it cause there better than the mets

lol ironic that you say this... the yankees fans are the ones putting down the mets fans because... i don't know. just watch me and shamus. we've been pretty diplomatic compared to the yanks fans. :rolleyes: grow up young'un. |

Hey, I'm as diplomatic about the Mets as anybody because I'm not even from NYC. Mets or Rockies... all in the same to me.
I only give you guys a hard time because I'm teasing, even though I think perhaps Shamus takes me seriously sometimes.
If the Mets are better it makes the intercity rivalry that much better. As a baseball fan, that's better. I'm gonna go to a few Mets games too this year.

Dude... you really got me all wrong. I don't hate the Yankees AT ALL. Not in the least bit. I used to. I'll admit that. But I'm over that. I like Posada. I'm starting to like Jeter more. I think Mariano is great. Alex Rodriguez reclaimed his throne of, inarguably, the best baseball player in the game.
I hate when Yankees fans make silly remarks. "The Yankees will win this year to make up for last year." That's so stupid... If the Yankees win this year, it has NOTHING to do with last year.
Maybe you just think I'm not as fun anymore because I don't hate the Yankees anymore. I dunno... but I don't. |

We're not idiots. We know who the better team is at this time. And I do agree that the Yankee fans seem to be the ones making inane comments about the Mets. At least... if we DID say about the Yankees, it could be an inferiority complex. When Yankee fans talk bad about the Mets... what the hell is that called? |

Nope. I'm as sarcastic as they come. I'm playing right back with you. But a lot of the times, you're saying what a moronic "Yankee" fan would be saying. So I'm usually just replying to that as if it's just Joey from Da Bronx saying it, not you. :wtf:
And I'll be the first to admit that there are just as many stupid Mets fans. But they have the inferiority complex to fall back on. Moronic Yankees fans have nothing. "The Mets suck... because they're worse than the Yankees." Reallllllly?
