Dude... you're mistaking me for a hater and I'm so far from that now. I used to hate the Yankees and wanted them to do poorly. Now, I really couldn't care less how they do. Perhaps it came with age? Maybe it was because the Red Sox won last year? Maybe it's because the Mets are relevant again? Who knows? I know that I still think the Yankees make the Wild Card. I'm not hating. I just think it should be a blast to watch Womack in LF (not a great fieling 2B with a weak arm) and Matsui in CF (not a great LF playing CF... also with a weak arm). It should be crazy! Now if only Sheffield sits one night and they put an outfield of Womack/Matsui/Bernie out there. Oh boy!!!

you see...no...this is you acting like youre more enlightened than me and trying to stay calm...i aint havin' that...we're gonna go on a roll and the mets will eventually blow like they blow and itll be back to the same old " the yankees" mentality...just wait and see...

Matsui is the best center fielder on the team. I think it was alittle premature to shake things up so early but George is impatient. Womack was a minor league outfielder, and bernie no-longer has any range, he never had an arm so it cant hurt them that bad, bernie still should be full-time dh, over 2000 career hits deserves to be full-time DH

Don't be knocking Matsui. He has an adequate arm but one of the quickest releases there is. I love Matsui!

Yanks are actually third in runs scored so far. Pitching, pitching, pitching, pitching is what they need. Esp relief pitching.

Edit:

Kevin Brown... what a deuchebag!!!

they're third in runs... they score in bunches, then follow it up with scoring nothing for days. that's how they're up there :p

agreed that brown's a douchebag.

Yeah, you're right you punk!

I wasn't sure how to spell douchebag but once you wrote it, it seemed rather obvious. I'm usually pretty anal about that stuff. Instead can I just write Brown for douchebag from now on?

Nope. Not at all. I am changed. I really don't care how the Yankees do. Like I've said before... I think it's humorous that they are stinking it up and whatever, but I don't care. Go on a tear and win 25 in a row. I won't care. I actually want Giambi to perform. I wish he would go back to like a .250/.380/.550 or something. And I dig Posada. Alex Rodriguez is the focal point of my fantasy team, so I hope he does well. I really don't care. I'm too laid back of a person to "hate" the Yankees. I actually thought about it the other day... and there are NO baseball players or teams I hate. I used to be such a hater... now, I really don't care. As long as my Mets play well, I'm happy. And even when they don't, I'm happy. Cause we have a bright future...

As for Kevin Brown... that first inning really waasn't as bad as it seemed. If the Yankees had an above average infield defense (ie: someone other than Jeter), then he probably would've been out of that inning much earlier than he was. All those hits were soft grounders that squeaked through holes. At least he was better than Tom ''riffic.

Whoa... they actually did it. I didn't think it would happen. Now... if the Yanks lose tomorrow and the D-Rays win... and Belamy Rose loses the Derby... watch out.

Kevin Brown 0-4, 8.25 ERA, 24 inn, 41 hits, $15.7 million dollar deal. Anymore questions?

Jason Juiceambi .208, 3 HR, 6 RBI's, and 4 years after this year at $72 million.

I fall asleep about the 4th-5th inning of every game right on my couch. I wake up and it's like 2-8.

Blah, blah, blah

Don't forget Jaret Wright who has 2 more years after this.

But, how I do find it funny that the Yankee fans are always out in full force when they're winning. Now only MoX is around... Interesting...
