The funny thing about statements like these is that they are only made when your team is doing bad. If your team is doing good, no one says "It's only April." If the Dodgers had a record like the Yanks, every Dodger fan would be saying 'It's only April.' But because they are playing awesomely, every Dodger fan is saying 'I told you so.' |

Yanks started out last year 8-11 and eventually won 101 games. Still, I do have my concerns/doubts, I think it is only natural. But I realize that a baseball season is one of ebbs and tides, and that we're merely 14/162 games through the season.
Let's talk in 25 games or so. |

Look at how every Brave was hurt to start last year. Then they all came back. The Yankees aren't having that problem.
I hope you're not mistaking my comments for me thinking the Yankees will suck all year... because I don't. I still stick by my original thought of Red Sox first, Yankees second. |

He's struggling but I think he's just adjusting back to the American League. Plus, Torre mentioned that he's still building arm strength. He started at 93 mph opening day and yesterday was at 94 mph average.
Roger Clemens wass 14-10 with a 4.60 ERA in his first season in pinstripes. It took him awhile to adjust too. |

As Mets fans, does it really matter if Randy Johnson sucks? Not to me. I mean, I find it humorous when the Yankees lose or something goes wrong for them, but I don't wish it upon them. |
