i was expecting a high scoring game all night... was surprised to see a pitcher's duel considering how messy the pitchers and fielders were all night

No need to analyze this blowout. Yanks win from start to finish.

And one can even make the argument that Heilman is better than Benson. I love baseball...

Yanks coming from worst, almost to first
Now ahead of the Red Sox
Quite remarkable, I'm sure much sooner than most people expected

It'll probably be some time before they can catch Baltimore ... coming up, other than the Sox, the O's have the Tigers twice, Pirates, Reds, Astros, and Rockies. During that same stretch, Yanks will face the Twins and Cardinals.

Now the question is whether the Sox will hit the bottom :p
Their upcoming schedule consists of Yanks, O's, Angels, and Cards. That's followed by the Cubs - surprisingly their first ever appearance at Wrigley. For at least one of those games, I've heard that bleacher seats are selling for $2700!

Holy crap... that is a RIDICULOUSLY easy scheduele for the Orioles!

Yankees are gonna be Number 1 in there division
and there more than likely taking the world series this year to make up for last year
Shamez214
And I suppose the year before that. And the year before that. And the year before that.

i just think its funny how much effort people put towards hating the yankees - i mean honestly without the yankees, i doubt this would be americas past time. Granted there were great players in each respective team outside the yankees that made this game a true display of talent, however without the yankees, the history wouldn't exist! it'd just be another ball game! =)
