Just listening to the most recently uploaded mix, jason jollins - feelthis.mp3..
it's very nice.. I especially like the way he did his cue sheet, saying exactly where stuff ends and begins, it makes it easy to judge, especially when I don't know the tracks he is using..
here is how he did it, if you are wondering..
Track 1 - 0 -- 8:18
Transition - 5:25 -- 8:18
Track 2 - 8:18 -- 12:54
Transition - 11:22 -- 12:54
Track 3 - 12:54 -- 18:47
Transition - 16:14 -- 18:47

i know i didnt post allot altough i started this thread...
well i want to say few things
1st - if u compete THEN UPLAOD YOUR MIX DAMN IT!
cause time is running out...
i take my chance to put my mix last cause i maybe
use a live set (and rec the crowd specially for u)
2nd - ppl are PM me for bull...stop only for SERVER info
and ppl like Kuffdam and others who maintain website
i dont expect u to come to me and give u webspace!
i offer it for ppl who are telanted and DONT HAVE WEB
SPACE so if u got your own website then get your own
webspace and post your mix in the thread or to the
judges by PM them.
3rd - happy Xmas for you ppl... and for me Happy Chanuka (altough
it was over 3 days ago... :P )
keep on partying ....and ppl now for real
upload your mixes be serius i think that to win in this
contest is a great houner!!!!!!!!!

Well, I'm back online again, my ISP decided to drop my connection
so I only had 56k (and everyone knows that sux).
I listened to most of the mixes that are online, heard some pretty good stuff.
btw gil, is the mix supposed to have such a high treble or is the upload screwed?
it really hurts my ears :(
Well good luck everyone with finishing their mixes, but you will really have to
do your best because the mixing level has been set very high :) |

OK then, I see you are uploading now, good. too bad I can't start downloadin while you are uploading, I did try, it doesn't work.
R-Yeah, could you please get rid of the useless files on the FTP?
you can delete patticus warmup mix, and tracklist, also please delete Project T's (Boy luke's) 4 second warmup mix cue file.. |

great, which tracks? i got kinda prog for this one, there's even a cool techno track in there, i love that...
but i just discovered a major glitch in the wav file, its in the last song which is why i didnt hear it before.... in the middle of the conductor and the cowboy
i have NO IDEA what caused this glitch, becuase all was fine in the mix. its not even part of a mix, must have been some kind of computer error but anyways pls dont penalize me for that!!!

it goes for 10+ seconds but then the track comes back and all is fine. so i have no clue what happened... ARR!!!:mad: :mad:
mad cause i thought it was a pretty good mix for me... (8 month mixing anniversary! woohoo!)
