about the posting the sets: R-yeah should take care of this one. If his mate is willing to let the server being hammered, he could leave them on.
About posting the mixes on TA ...
Good idea, I'll PM Swamper about this one ...
I think we should make a second comp too

Congratulations to jason jollins. you are first with all three judges so you really deserve to win.
thx to everybody who made all this a great competition!!
and thx to the judges who did thake the effort of downloading and listen (several times) to all the mixes.

Hehe, I'm sure they enjoyed every minute of it :)
Idea about the server. If all the consestants are PMed by R-Yeah or any of the judges who is willing to lead the way, So then the server won't get hammered as much. |

It's time to talk about a next comp perhaps ...
Any ideas for dates, logistics and stuff

how about we make the deadline to enter the next comp one month from now? say.. march 10...
and the deadline to drop your mix in by.. 6 weeks after that, or may 1st....
that sound realistic?
same format.. or keep up to only 20/25 contestants? ..

| So I stopped home after work at around 9pm Saturday to pick up my record bag as I had to get to a gig. While home, I went online to check my e-mail and recieved an instant message from a trance addict telling me that I had won the TA competition. I am honored and extremely happy that my mix was chosen. I downloaded the XLS file and saw that the competition was very close. It looks like all of the mixes submitted were very good. Thanks so much to the judges for volunteering there time and for putting so much effort into this competition. I'd also like to thank R-Yeah for supplying the server space and for not only thinking up the idea, but also for applying the idea and making it a reality. :) |

If it's up to me, ... Limit the amount of entries to let's say 15
YOU REALISE WHAT A LOAD OF WORK THIS IS ... :D
and @ the end, you have to be able to keep 'em apart to give scores ...
But before whe even START a new comp, i think we should first settle ALL the logisics here (deadlines, judges, formats, rules, restrictions,server, ..) in this thread, and the give it a fresh start in a new thread, ...
NO ENTRIES FOR MIXERS IN THIS THREAD PLZ. TAKE CARE OF IT IN THE NEXT THREAD. ...
Anyway, if we decide there's gonna be a next comp, count me in for judging :-)
