Aggh! I just listened to patticus's mix, very nice, but that "little screwup" just about killed me!
a warning to the judges, 5 minues 30 seconds from the end (or aproox 63:21 in) there is some harsh static, if your listening in headphones it might very well scare the crap out of you, so turn it down!
I think I have to go change my pants now... :o
woo, got 3 more mixes cued up, I've heard this ZevaN one is pretty good, I hope it lives up to my expectations. |

hello people.
hello competiters and judges
altough this was my idea to do this competition
i am afraid that i am not gonna compete
i hope i helped with the webspace and stuff the lead
this competition TO BE AT ALL....
my speakers (which were from 1978)
are now officaly dead
i bought my dj equipment 5 monthes ago and toke from my friend
his speakers
after i worked with them a little they both twiters(the HIGH SOUND speaker) burned
so i decided to buy new ones ..but cause i am in the army
then i didnt had time.
now officaly they are dead while i was working on my mix and other stuff.
only 1 speaker has the Main speaker(bass speaker...) working
and one is shutdown.
so i need to buy new ones... (beg dad!.. hate that...)
so if i could get another few days for the competition
(i already know what i am gonna mix and stuff)
i could find a soultion.
its up to you judges to add me few days(sat is best)
if you will not accept it i will understand :)
btw for monitor speakers what do u recommand????!?!?

man that sucks.. thanks for the webspace though! :)
about the speakers, anything is good for a monitor, as long as it's good and loud.
you don't really even NEED speakers to make a mix, you can just use the headphones, that will work. then put the output to your recording device of choice.
I don't mind if we extend the date personally, but I think it would be best to leave it as is. if we extend it for you, we have to extend it for everyone else so...
anybody else? |

| Hey guys wassup, i've been tryin to get my friend's cd burner from him. I'm goin there now to get it, so i'll be able to up a mix in a day or two. Who do i upload it to? and where all these mixes being hosted? I wanna dload some.... |

please read the thread before you post, all these questions are answered. but I will answer them for you anyway.
you cannot download other peoples mixes(only judges can right now)
for FTP server info, you need to PM Ryeah.
the deadline for DJ entry was december 10th
the deadline for uploading is january 1st
personally I don't mind if you get it uploaded by then, but you will have to ask the other judges if that is OK. |

| I wouldn't mind the uploading date rule to be bent by a few days, say Friday? I think it is only fair R-Yeah should be able to upload seeing as it is his webspace and that he started the comp. |

I agree with ya here Boy Luke ...
I don't have a prob with extending R-yeah's uploading date ...
since he set us up with the idea, webspace, ... you name it .
As fas As I'm concerned, you get another week (mix uploaded January 7th).
Other judges ?
