hmm.. I'm not sure..
one thing, I need to say:
VBR SUCKS
i have a mix here that is VBR (you know who you are), I can hardly even use it! the track time is jumping all over the place, it restated on me, I can't sync with cyrax, i don't know where I am, can't rewind or fast forward
in any future comps, NO VBR FILES.. they suck I hate them! I can't understand why people would even use these things! .

I don't get how you can have problems with VBR...what are you using? I NEVER have any problems in Winamp, the time is stable, it doesn't skip or jump or restart, I can fast forward/rewind...I encode all my stuff in VBR.

Well, because I can get an mp3 with the qualtiy of 320 kbps and the size of 192.
The only time I encountered problems with VBR was when playing the file in Windows media player, but that's just Microsoft;)
anyway, didn't want to start a discussion about mp3s here.
February 10th sounds fine to me.

yeah, well, they cause problems for me. sometimes when i hit rewind to skip back a bit, they skip back like 20 min. for cyrax yesterday one part just would reset his song. I have had them mess up on me lots before. and you can't use them in VTT to mix with so that sucks too.. and you don't save all that much space, only a tiny bit.
but anyway.. yeah, let's not argue..
feb 10th it is I guess.

Hey, i am finally finished judging..
it was tough, some of you guys are just so damn good..
i was trying to judge each transition, and some were so smooth i didn't even notice!

uhm....1 judge is done....
now.....I think...when judge is done...he saves the ranks on a txt file (or anything that can store words)...than waits till february 10.
AND..so nobody would cheat, all of the judges post it on february 10-th !!!!
....if earlier than other judges might just copy & rearange
....if later....same .
I'm not saying that our judges will cheat...i'm just trying to get rid of conflicts :)

We sure did have a plan, we even discussed it in here :-)
i get all scores and stuff, i process them and stuff, and will publish scores here on February 10th

some final thoughts, ok:
I had the idea to have an overall winner, and maybe also "best beat-matcher", "best overall mix" and/or "best track selection".
If every judge sends their results in the right format, it will be easy to figure these out. Just a thought.
I think for being the first time this competition went really well.
