un-ing-believable
the night started out as a 10. the tunes in the drink were perfect to start out the night. everyone that i saw was having a great time, dressed in funky costumes, and had huge smiles on their faces (ing awesome), then the worst possible thing happened. rich and i decided to go for a ciggarette on the skybar, then decided to go straight to the guv to catch the beginning of lawler's set (which we were anticipating for the last few weeks). we walked down the stairs and accidentally ended up at the entrance beside charlie's. less than a minute later, we realized we were in the wrong place. we started to walk back up, but the ing bouncer wouldn't let us back up without a ticket, even though we had hands stamped and coat check tickets. after trying to plea our way back in for over half an hour, the ing kunts wouldn't let us in.
that was my night, how was yours?
i hope someone is keeping track of the tunes lawler is playing (carlos & peter???) cause i'm going ing nuts to know what he is playing. |

ahh dude, that ing sucks man...well, i for one had an amazing time...everybody came up to me and commented on my costume(hulk hogan)...it's nice to feel somewhat special just for one night, ya know...everybody was telling me how great my costume was and how i should've won, etc etc...oh well, the fact that people knew who i was, was rewarding enough...however, left the place somewhat earlier than usual, but what can ya do...now i'm here on the computer wired out of my mind, lol...and i can't go to sleep, lol..anyways, that's my story...
later.. |

Since I worked all week and missed Guetta last weekend I was really looking foreward to this and come hell or high water I was going to make it. Wasn't feeling all that great to begin with but I was psyched nonetheless.
Time I got to the Guvernment: 11pm
Time I got into the Guvernment: 2am
Wow.
The music was off the hook, one of the best sets I've ever heard. That being said I didn't enjoy it for two main reasons:
1) The club was packed tighter than I've ever seen it
2) The packed club was packed full of s and total s
I never understood what my brother meant when he said that people would talk to him in the club for no apparant reason or just generally be total s until tonight. Of all the times I've been to the club this was by far the worst crowd. I try and make my way outside and anyone who knows me knows that I'm a skinny bitch and not one to push and shove. One guy I'm walking past stops dead, raises his arms and says "try saying excuse me", as if I'm going to say that to every ing person I walk by.
I shrug it off ( happens) and make my way back inside. Within about 30 minutes I have two total s lipping off to me because I brush against them or am being pushed from behind. In neither situation did I rudely push or touch either of the girls and I wasn't as surprised to hear it as I was the tone and the dirty looks I get for trying to make my way to the stage.
Those are just a few examples, there were many more and I was only inside the club for all of 3 hours. Wicked music though, Lawler is king. |

| typical guv BS. I was down town tonight and was sooooo sorely tempted to go see lawler. Every time I go there half way thorugh the night I'm always asking myself why the hell I came. The crowds never change, the over packed dance floor never changes. |

Which costumes ended up winning the 3 cash prizes?
Oh and after reading the disclaimer and seeing the video crew what was going on? |

they made me do it !!
i got really drunk so i couldnt argue with my friends so iwent.
pft, i wish i was home sleeping.
got inside around 4ish to a ing pandemonium . i knew it, i was telling everybody "people, its gonna suck, its haloween, its guv, its gonna be uningbereable"
and i was right.
drink, always a pleasure.
guv, abnormal crowd, but lawler IS the king (at least them 10 min that i heard).
this was not a party, this was just ridiculous. like i said, i like to have some space, love to bust a move, and i really love to breathe. but im my own worst enemy so i aint complaining.
went home before 5. |

this all ties into my thread about needing a second wind on the whole underground rave scene. More space, better crowds, amazing vibe..
oh how i miss thee. |

I seriously want to fackin cry. We waited in line forever, and finally decided, by the time we get in we will have missed most of it, it wont be worth it, and probably way to packed anyway. Its 7:38am right now and i'm just dieing to friggin dance! Someone please hook-up a live stream and spin some beats! haha. seriously though, i know that once there was some room to dance, it was amazing in there, so sad right now....:( :( :(
it was almost a perfect weekend too :sadgreen:
I was just itching to dance, to see all my friends, and have a great time, finish off the weeeknd, but it wasnt meant to be this night i guess :(
seeing all these posts about the great time that should have been had but wasnt because of the crowd, makes me think that we made a good choice just leaving.
MY QUESTION TO EVERYONE IS THIS: Was there a time in the night where all of a sudden there was actually room to dance? |

but on a more positive note, the halloween Party @ Fly was great, good choons, great crowds, Stephan Grondin threw down track after track of feet to the floor tribal.
and RJ, when ever i see a new picture of u and a new facial expression. it brightens my day. u sir, and the king of the Facial xpression |
