That's the same thing I was thinking!
I know it's a club, and the Guvernment is always packed. But usually it starts dying down around 3 or 4ish...never happened. And plus, it wasn't just PACKED...it was ing packed to the ! Like I said, I'm a little person, and I would simply stand there sometimes to let ppl by just to be polite, and the people would just keep coming, and I was being shoved all over the place. It wasn't a plesant experience at all. Normally I can take a bit of pushing and shoving, suck it up and move along...but when there's no chance of that even happening b/c I'm getting pushed the ENTIRE time...it's a little hard to take. |

total waste of $20. if it hadn't been for the afterparty, i would be wishing that i had never gone at all. |
have you listen to his tracks before ? I had never and I tried when i heard that he was coming. Didn't like it and i decided not go.
IMO, Lawler's music is more like dark house with some strange sounds mixed in, like sound of birds and train horn :eyes: sorta reminds me the sounds that Ross in "friends" played in one of the episode. sorry lawler fans :D |

I'm 6'2" 195 and I still had the same problem last night. it was rediculous. I ended up going up to security and said "whats the fastest way out of here!" He opened a door, and I left. |

Lawler's set was phenomenal. What can I say... the man is a freaking genius. His set in Charlie's was even better. I loved the intimate feel in there plus space to dance. Music-wise I got no complaints at all.
Can't say that about the crowd but what else is new? A lot of people were very pleasant and just wanted to let lose and have a good time. Unfortunately, there was a large number non-regulars and they were so damn pushy last night. Jason and I took refuge beside the stairs leading to the patio for a long time. I spent most of the night either in the delux lounge or on the patio.
Glad I was able to run into a bunch of TAs over the course of the night. Special mention to Jason, Liam, Eric, Max, Craig, Tasha & Scott who I hung with on the patio and all the TAs in Charlie's for Lawler's exclusive set. btw, it was nice meeting you cmack & chinamon for the first time.
