| i had a blast, i dont know why everyone is complaining so much, the guv never changes, its always packed and always idiots inside, try to ignore them, do your thing, let them do theirs, stop being so uptight about everything. ITS A CLUB, not a comfortable house party. |

Don't kid yourself, if Boa has 200 people outside and they are at capacity - those 200 aren't going to be turned away = every club will overcrowd if given the chance.
I always have a good time at Guv - because I know what to expect when I go, if I don't think I am in the mood to deal with the heat, crowd, and everything else that comes with Guv - I don't go.
I just get tired of people complaining about Guv. You know it will be HOT, OVERCROWDED, AND BE FULL OF IGNORANT PEOPLE AND CRACKED OUT OLD ASIANS. espically on a big night - don't be surprised and upset when that is the case. |

for real, i am never going back there unless danny is there (and i hope that won't happen!). i hate that place, and it puts me in a ing FOUL mood. i thought i'd give it one more chance, but by the time lawler came on, i was so sick and tired of trying to just stand in one single spot out of everyone's way without getting shoved, that i just wanted to go home and curl up in bed. i was actually dreaming of how nice my bed would be. and then some prick put his cigarette out on my hand and i was like "thanks ", so now i'm all blistered. i thought there was this thing called a no smoking in clubs rule? even the washroom attendant was smoking. and to top it all off, lawler's set was not even worth it. couldn't get into it at all and i found it to be quite boring. oh! and seriously, WHAT is the deal with that stupid train horn noise???? omg. i hate it.
the only redeeming thing about last night was the after party in charlies/the gallery or whatever the it's now called. that set was actually quite good, totally different from what i heard in guv. more ass-shake, less suckage.
total waste of $20. if it hadn't been for the afterparty, i would be wishing that i had never gone at all. |

We drove by sometime after 3am , debating on whether to go in or not. Our decision not to go in was affirmed by the LONG ass lineup even at that hour. Needless to say, the $25 cover was not attractive either.
All in all, a good decision me thinks :) |
