if everything goes as plans, the arizona cardinals will have the BEST wide receiver combo in 2007. not 2006, because it's too soon, and arizona needs a quality running back or some kind of an offensive line to sell the passing game.

i can't think of any defense that could stop the fitzgerald-boldin combo in a couple of years when both have matured. if they both are cashing in 100+ yards each every game, who knows what they could do in the future ?

rice/taylor ? moss / carter ? wayne/stokley/harrison ? clark/monk/sanders ? reed/beebe/lofton ? rison/metcalf/mathis ? we will see in the future how this duo ( maybe trio with the development of bryant johnson ) will do , now that we know the rodgers/williams/williams combo is going to be a bust .

should the bears start considering rex grossman back to his original starting qb position ?

according to this , he is ready to play, and the way orton is passing, the bears aren't going to make it through the playoffs .. at least with grossman, he can get the ball to muhammad to create something . how can muhammad have 0 catches yesterday .. that's preposterous for prob one of the top 10 wide receivers right now .

That Bears-Packers game was embarassing... but Brett Favre did better than I thought he would... only 2 picks...

Why is Reggie Bush being thrown around as the top pick and not Leinart??? Maybe I'm too high on Leinart... but I think he's going to be amazing... I'd take Leinart over Bush everyday... I just think Bush will be the next Peter Warrick, a bust. But, I hope he proves me wrong.

Wow, having watched prob 17 years of college football (I'm a little older) I haven't seen too many talents like Reggie Bush. He's light years ahead of Peter Warrick talent wise. The dude is on another planet with jukes and speed. He just has incredible vision. And he is one of the best pass catching RB's to come around well... since my boy Marshall Faulk. LT is pretty good too. Leinart looks like a solid pro potential QB but he doesn't jump out at me. I think he'll be solid don't get me wrong but Reggie Bush is often compared to Gale Sayers. People are saying he's the best college RB they've ever seen. He's definitely up there for me. I like him so much if I put on my Rams G.M. hat, I'd draft him (if given the chance) and trade Steven Jackson. That's how much I think he's gonna make a difference in the NFL. He's got more scary moves than Michael Jackson.

Leinart has struggled with the teams that have thrown a pass rush at him(arizona, notre dame).reggie Bush is another Marshall faulk,he just makes things happen everytime he touches the ball.Leinart will more than likely become the saviour of the new orleans saints

as much as i would like to see leinert in new orleans, because i know he would make "the smarter, more educated" decisions at quarterback, rather than aaron broooks, i know the saints will give up their pick like they usually do, and try to get some big money superstar . hell, they screwed it up with ricky williams, why not do it again with the 2006 draft ?

as for reggie bush, many comparisons to gale sayers . i don't want to make those comparisons, because sayers has many chicago bear records that would probably be untouched for many years to come . i don't think reggie bush would have the type of impact that sayers had on the bears when he was on the bears, but i don't want to argue how much of a great back reggie bush is . is he a barry sanders type ? not even close . marshall faulk ? maybe. time will tell. but he is way better than peter warrick. who wants to make those comparisons ? warrick is good, but not as good as bush.

as for leinert again, i think he will be a solid quarterback. not a peyton manning type ( no playoff rips on peyton. i think this is his year, and after this year, those demons will finally disappear ), but more like a tom brady type. he is going to go on the field, and get the job done, no matter what. he is smart, and i know he can make the logical decision at the last second. but i still question his forethoughts on whether he knows if a blitz is coming or not ? if not, he's going to be another david carr . just continuing be scrapped off the ground after every play.

is it just me, or does pete carroll know how to train his quarterbacks at usc ? first carson palmer. now matt leinert (hopefully . ) . i hope local boy john booty can make a name for himself at usc (he's from louisiana, where he shattered all the high school passing records at shreveport )

It's tough not to like Aaron Brooks. The man needs a quarterbacks coach for sure, but there were few scrambling quarterbacks before the 90s, so you'd have to hire Warren Moon or Randall Cunnigham or someone who knows how to harness the speed and open up his passing game. Brooks has a great arm, but makes poor decisions, as you noted, but while you can teach decision making....you can't teach strength or the way he throws the ball. New Orleans, on the turf seems like a good place for him. I think New Orleans could use some offensive linemen who can block.

I wouldn't pick up Lienart despite the success of Carson Palmer. If Im Houston and I've got the #1 pick, I'm definitely thinking Reggie Bush. I still believe in Carr who is throwing more touchdowns that interceptions again, which is better than many starters around the league. The Jets currently hold #2 and they definitely need a quarterback. I think Vince Young is their man as the more physical, all-around quarterback who can shake things up in the AFC East by making teams prepare for something much different when the Jets are in town. At #3, I can't see the San Francisco 49ers taking another quarterback after drafting Ken Dorsey and Alex Smith over the last few years. I really think the 49ers will try to trade down to grab a top O-lineman, especially if they can get a middle-tier team that needs a QB (Washington, Tampa Bay, Miami, Baltimore, Kansas City) to bite on a chance with Leinart. If not, I think they will take Jonathon Scott, a monster tackle (6'7", 315lbs) out of Texas.

At #4, I think Green Bay takes A.J. Hawk, the Butkus Award finalist from Ohio State. New orleans comes next with the #5 pick, where Matt Leinart will probably be selected. New Orleans could also look to to shore up the corner position.

I truly feel bad for David Carr..i think he is a very good qb who just has issues with a very bad line .
As for Carson Palmer and Leinart, the common thread would be Norm Chow who had done a great job grooming them both while he was at Usc,now if only he could get McNair to stay healthy in the Nfl

yeah that old Cleveland Bowns reciever was da ...

tribu rumor has it Brooks is uncoachable

Bush might be the best RB ever, how can you pass up on that. Now I wonder if for some reason USC struggles vs Texas all of a sudden Vince young will be in the mix for #1, hmmmm

hate to admit it, but it's true.
i heard that he doesnt look at game tapes, films on his opponents, or photo strips of the defense during the game.
