the fact that santa cruz is paraguay's star player says a lot about the quality of their squad. he has done virtually nothing at club level for years.
will still be a tough match as they will be up for it and all the pressure is definately on england. paraguay will struggle from set pieces though and that's where england will punish them. my prediction 3-1.
can't wait for this tournament to start! |

true, they are traditionally tough to break down. they leak a lot more goals these days than they did back in 98 though when they were virtually inpenetrable! |

Pretty much all the England and Australia games plus the best of the group matches I could find (Holland vs Argentina is the best match-up of the first stage by far). Sure I'll end up watching a -load more than that though, as this World Cup actually fits in pretty well with my exam / work / sleep timetable for a ing change. :) |
