| Gutted, but you couldn't have asked for much more. Got shafted by the ref for most of the game as well (25 fouls to 9 :-/) so we did pretty well to stay in the game for as long as we did. If we can play like that against Croatia, we should be okay... |

| I agree, Australia put up a damn good fight and i think the rest of the world might start taking notice. I was very impressed with the way we played. Croatia is a gonna cop a woopy goldberg. |

what is with the fvcking referees in this tournament? i think the idea of having refs from all over is fvcking & refs should have to compete to qualify just like the teams. what a joke.
what a great game by australia. who wouldve thought this was the same team that beat solomon islands 1-0 during qualifying. much more impressive than the croats.
brazil certainly not the unbeatables we've come to expect. yeah, and agreed about ronaldo. needs a few trips to the salad bar. slow & sluggish as .

ive only watched italy vs usa and aus vs brazil so far
and refereeing has been so .
italy vs usa, ive never seen so many bull offside calls ever
in the aus vs brazil game, someone should teach the ref's if a player runs into another player and falls over, this is not grounds to give a free kick, i saw a free kick given i think cafu tried to tackle viduka from behind, got viduka in the ankles fell over, and somehow this was viduka's fault? ridiculous
australia have always been a bit off when it comes to actually putting the ball in the back of the net so i wasnt too surprised when they missed all those chances, was really fkn frustrating to watch tho, we totally outclassed the brazilians in the middle of the pitch, but when they did get near our box, they always looked dangerous. |

They showed it on the footy show, funny . Even though they dont show much of him here in NSW, he gets copped with alot of crap by ppl over there.
GG Australia, did very well. It shows how Australia is improving, all we need is a nice polish in finishing the task off and we have a great chance. Most south americans have that nice or strong finish to pound those goals when there is a gap.
Helarious how Ronaldo missed kicked it, you can see his face going OMFG how the fudge did i miss that hehe, and Ronaldinho stacking it.
And that aussie volley, omg it would've been kick ass if we got that in.
ahh yeh and hope Harry doesn't get in for spitting the dummy at the ref. he went for ages telling him off. Go SON!
