Understando muchacho. Aribaaah!. We agree with each other but we're arguing with each other. I love the English language.
Well, we agree except for this.

(coz its a fvcking tough group which i dont think australia can progress from, and merely being in the cup and playing against sides like brazil & croatia in the pinnacle of football competition is fvcking ace).

I think this will be a common assessment of Australia's chances and it will work to our advantage (as long as our players don't think like this, and I'm sure Huus won't let them :)). Huus looked more than comfortable shaking the hands of the other coaches in our group at the draw ceremony.
Btw, here's our win record against the other teams in our group
Brazil 5
Australia 1
The last time Australia met Brazil, we won 1-0 (Confed Cup 2001)
Japan 5
Australia 5
Croatia 1
Australia 2
Seriously, when I first learnt we were with Brazil I thought , we're ed. But then I realised the other teams are doable, and, yes, we will be center stage against Brazil regardless, and our boys I'm sure will consider reputation as nothing on the day and will relish the chance to mix it with the big guns in the World Cup.
Bring it on! (Man, this is gonna rock. Bring on the party!) |

If i remember correctly, all the star players of Brazil weren't even playing in that game. Ronaldino was playing i think but he was still a brand new player for Brazil back then.
Now just imagine all the top players playing in that game, a much different score. |

| Well i'll be supporting both Croatia and Australia until they vs each other, i'll support Croatia which should be an interesting match for us aussie croats. |

i think Australia have done quite well out of that group, they have one of the easier European teams, at least they avodied Holland, Czech, Portugal etc.
I went on a scores predictor http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/foo...tor/4515694.stm of you want the URL.
Came up with Australia topping there group (drawing with Brazil, beating Japan and Croatia, Brazil drawing with Japan) and then a 2nd round of USA (i think USA will qualify from their group), Q/F of Ukraine and then a semi of England. You never know, the favourites certainyl wont win all their mathces and there will be some shocks
Bet you'd be happy with that.
I genuinelly think Australia could be a bit of a surprise package in this world cup.
Best of luck guys :D |

Give me a break.
Yes, these big teams do have a tendancy to field their second string sides against us and then wonder why we beat them. Their stupidity can't be helped but it can be dealt with on the pitch. Besides, Brazil are so strong their second side should have beaten us easily anyway, right?
Regardless of the circumstances, we'll take that win and use it as a psychological advantage when we meet next. |

Tough group...
Our best chance imo is against the croatians, because they also play a european style of football. Japan is a tough team, and their strenghths are our weaknesses... ie speed, quick footed etc. Ahh well you gotta be in it to win it, so i guess anything can happen. |

GROUP B
England

Watch out for Paraguay they distroyed most of the South American Teams not just this year but they have been on fire for the past 2 so years in South America. I wouldnt be suprised if they topped the group or knock out England |

Don't be too pessimistic about Australias chances. You'll never know.
Greece became the European champion last year which I could never even imagined in a thousand years. Its simply illogical but it happened :D |
