LOL @ Matterazi, how tame is that... Zidane plays in spain the biggest racist league in the world... I know who's position i would rather be in lol What a little girl zidane is...got offended by a few mum jokes and being called a terrorist! Its a world cup final, theres not many things you wouldnt do not to lift that up!

i disagree with you totally man, the world cup is about a respect between nations, theres no place for that kinda stuff in the world, especailly not on a stage like that

So your telling me labelling zidane a terrorist in the heat of the momment is racism?
Let me tell you about professional sport, its cut throat, the difference between teams and athletes is miniscule, any little advantage is taken! This stuff goes on everyday...Zidane is no angel, and cracked...its as simple as that! I sense a real naivety in both pkcs and Begic's posts. |

| zidane has a record of stupid behaviour and being sent off for stomping, headbutting and reacting to challenges and taunts. a true champion would use that insult as fuel and win the game for his country not react without any thought for the consequences. |

oh come on, dont lets be arrogant here. i played many seasons and i know sledging goes all the way to the top of all sports. but it doesnt mean its ok or should be tolerated. FIFA made a big commotion about stopping racism in the sport this world cup, and mattarazzi should be penalised if found to have broken the anti-racism code.
in my entire time on the pitch i never took a dive, never sledged anyone (tho i might have reacted a few times, haha) and never acted more hurt than i was. to me, anything above & beyond the actual playing of the game is cheap & honour-less. that doesnt make one naive. it makes one an idealist ;)
i dont defend what zidane did but out of the two players i have more respect for his situation & actions. |

i think that kind of defeatist bollocks is another part of the problem. theres no reason at all they cant lesson (for instance) the diving bull. accepting it is just dishonest.
the first thing they should attend to. its a disgrace and an embarrasment. |
