that sam newman incident will be ridiculously over hyped.. not saying he isnt a , however the guy was getting rigth in his face calling him a "n and a n " and then spat at him. i think sam is entitled to push him away with his fist..
it was hardly a punch, it was a tap....
Australia deserve to go through to the next round...
lets hope Brazil dont throw the match against Japan because they know Australia is more of a threat... |

The Japan vs Cro game was quite lacklustre, Cro reminded me of Portugal in their game vs Iran, some good chances in the first half including the squandered penalty and then they became frustrated and probably rightly felt that they were jinxed.
Aus were very unlucky not to get a point against Brasil but they played brilliantly, the ref was attrocious, and Kewell is in extremely poor form.
The game against Croatia will be great, with so much Cro blood in the Aus team and one or two Aussies raised in the Cro team it's bound to be a terrific match |
