Im guessing why Armin came on late was beacuse they wanted to make sure their was no more technical problems when hes on, so I guess they waited to make sure.
By the way the ferry corsten song that was remixed was Ferry Corsten - Beautiful (Paul Moelands Remix) |

I bet of armin had tech problems (like at bal en blanc) no one would tell him to get the off. People need to stop being DJ whore's and just listen to what is being played for them presently. , armin will GET THERE. but respect the guy who is making you dance NOW, first. Dj's are people with effin feelings for s sake, especially when they are first starting out!!!!!
Blake is an awesome DJ, and besides the fact is still young and learning. People should respect how far along he is despite not having a HUGE amount of experience. :whip: :whip:

Armins set was okay, I wasn't really feeling it so I sat through most of it. The KoolHaus was completely packed during Armin which is another reason I wasn't on the dancfloore.
As soon as Markus came on I shoved my way through the crowd and never left the floor. My very first time seeing Schulz and HOLY , definately not my last. His set blew me the away, especially at the end where he played Air For Life as an encore. wow..... just wow.
This night will not be forgotten. |

I figured you weren't, you found me then Kat, after that I never saw you again....well was better than not seeing you at all. I knew you were there for Schulz and am glad he did not dissapoint. Hoping to see him again soon...both Armin and Markuz were way better this time than the last time I saw em both in L.A where it was plain no good. |

This night was better than Bal en Blanc for me because I LOVE the Toronto crowd (aside from the agressive pushing which I am mildly use to). Both Adi and I would choose the TO crowd over MTL any day. People were having issues recognizing me last night because of my new brown hair, so that was interesting.
I wasnt suppose to come to this, but I decided last minute. I surprised Ashley, and her reaction was worth coming. Love you hun !! Also Adi, Rahul and new addition Jimmy, essential in the equation of a good night for me.
gekO, or Branden with an e :clown:, we scored on the double VIP bracelets, too bad I didn't go in VIP once !
Mada, seems like there is always something standing in the way of us having a great night together, whether its you being attacked by a tiger, or just not feeling it. We need to fix that.
Josh's friend Derek (I think, lol), my freezie swaping buddy, had so much fun with you !!
Rob, we reminiced about meeting at Decadence '04, we were loving Markus' dirty beats !!!

At the end I met up with Robbiej, 84th Ave and others from Ottawa. Seems like we are at all the same events, but have never crossed paths. Craziness.
Shoutouts to Josh, RJ & Marg, Gypsy, Yohan, Pett (and I even got my Todd fix), Ben, Armada angels etc...
Musically, I thought Armin played very well, he played a "bitchy" set in Ottawa on wednesday with lots of melodic vocals....but I prefer the harder sets he throws down. Markus definitly was the highlight of my night due to my progressive trance addiction lately, I loved Body Roxx - Yeah Yeah :D :D |

It was an OK party. I got there around 2 am and it was buzy, but it didnt bother me because i expected it. We just stayed by the exit for a bit and there was lots of room there and it was all good. Armin was ok. It was nice to hear some harder beats from him, but seriously all those breakdowns dont realy do it for me... its like im dancing harder and harder and harder and then bam break down and its like aww ( i mean its nice, but i prefer good constant dancable beats and thats why House > Trance).
Anyways what i enjoyed the most is schulz from about 6:30 am - and beyond. There was soo much room to dance and he was dropping some serious beats. I just couldnt leave, half my friends were dead tired on the couches but I had to stay cuz every track was better then the last. Left at about 8:15 am cuz friends couldnt take it anymore, how was was Markus's Closing ???

Communications realy hit the spot for me
Children was nice to hear in a club for the first time
And I have no clue what tracks Markus was spinning but the once that he was ripping in the wee hours of the morning were amazing. Just pure Basslines, everyone was grooving and jumping, ing sick. A track list for Markus's set would be nice.
I dono if i would give trance another chance.... |
