Despite the 2 power outages (bad surge protectors), I still had alot of fun playing at KH. Luckily the sound guys were quick to respond to the problems and knew exactly what was going on. It sort of takes the wind out of you when that happens in front of 2000+ people twice. As for the Armin chanting, that happens in every city and I am used to it. I dont blame people for it, they are there for Armin.

Anyhow, Toronto is a BEAUTIFUL city and the experience playing at KH was still one of my favorite gigs overall.

Someone asked what the last track I played was, it was Solee - Impressed.

Thanks everyone!

Blake

pss. really got a mixed vibe from some of the TA's last night, met a few new people and was pleasantly embraced in good greetings (you know who you are). While other familiar faces were just not as warm.

Completely agree.

yea I'll never forget one moron asking me if that was Armin on stage....I was like what? I kept turning away so he wouldn't talk to me anymore, guess he didn't get the message. He said he has never seen what Armin looks like, I just thought he was joking...appears not!

So I guess Blake has given his feedback on the event, oh well he is young, much time in front of him for sure.

P.S Nada was nice to meet you.

i dont know how people can compare markus and armins sets they were totally different. Armins set was more for the emotional trance lovers and markus was more for dancing. They both had amazing energy though and made me dance all night which is the main thing.

Armins set was quite energetic and had a good flo. i knew he would play his remix of great escape which made me happy. i like how he didnt over do the breakdowns and played more techy and dancey songs at one point. Markus's set had a totally different vibe and wasnt like the true trance that armin plays alot. His style of prog is very nice more mellow then trance and more danceable with the heavy bass and less breakdowns. At one point i was so tired to take a break from dancing to markus's beats but i couldnt leave for some reason it was like i was connected to the music. I stayed till the end and had a great time dancing till the sunrise.

I do not get why markus didnt play his remix of chakra I am. maybe i missed it in the washroom but i was expecting to hear that track last night.

It was nice meeting you Graham. That guy at the end of the night that we watched was so funny, he had some pretty sick dance moves :nervous:

As said before, the sketchbags were in full effect. There was a girl in the bathroom standing in front of the mirror talking to herself and making faces, then she would sing to herself. Biggest skecth I all all night.

About Armin doing the Jesus pose, I thought it was a bit excessive on Sat night too. My boyfriend took videos throughout the night, and in EVERY SINGLE video, he is doing the pose.
