Hey dude, thanks for posting my pic even though you probably had no clue who the hell I was coming up to you :) Like I said, I've seen you EVERY time I've traveled into CA so I just had to say hi.

Ok, firstly. You guys all ing rock. I was supposed to come up with my long time best friend but I had a bad best friend break up with her. But, I HAD to see Markus so I decided to travel in from Buffalo alone and hope for the best. Well I gotta say, you guys all kick ass. I felt more at home up there than any place I've been to. A bunch of ppl did the 'hey don't you post on trance addict' and I did my fare share of that too. So really, thanks for that. I never felt friendless the whole night.

So the rest of story. Yes KH was crowded but not really that bad. Mostly just walking along to the back and in the bathroom etc. Bar service I thought was actually really quick. The bartender in the corner was on top of his . First time walking through the gallery too, I think Meihdi or something was the DJ at the time? Well, sounded pretty wicked. The drink made a nice crowd escape too. It was pretty empty up there I thought and cooler, at least later in the night.

Blake, I JUST missed 'just wanna dance'. That would have been a sweet track to walk in to. My fault for taking the wrong exit on the QEW, twice. oops. He's a noob on the scene but I was really impressed. Felt bad about the tech problems, and felt really bad for the Armin chants, grow up kids. I would say I would have liked some more crowd interaction but that's kind of a two way street. He was probably nervous as already and the tech probs and chants probably killed his vibe.

Armin, started off slow. Very ASOT'y, which I expected, so I took this opportunity to explore the rest of the club more. Came back mid-way and he was dropping more to my style and really started picking my energy up for the night.

Markus, holy . Just, holy . Tunes, energy, all there.

Once again though, those of you I met and chilled and danced with made the night. I'll be back soon.

well, me and my friends got in around 12ish, and i thought armin was great, but shultz was better until the end when it kinda got repetitive. my piss off of the night was the asians who would stand right infront of you and not move. for some reason they would but gathering all around me and keep on hitting my.
but i have 2 new additions to my dj shirt. thank you armin and markus. (signatures on shirt include: talla 2xlc, blank and jones, rank 1, armin and markus)
:D
it was a good night for me and it was good running into a bunch of TA's. :)

hey, I don't wanna repeat what everyone has just said, but I agree Markus was freaking AWESOME last night... I was tired/hungry and I knew I needed to rest today for Andy Moor tonight, but that man would not let me go. Every time I was tempted to leave he just sucked me back in, very awesome. Was my 9th time seeing Armin and 3rd time seeing Markus, and Markus' sets have always stood out as better.

Highlights of the night for me:
Lost Witness vs. Sassot - Whatever (OMG I LOVE THIS TRACK!!! has it been released yet???)
Ferry Corsten - Beautiful (I'm pretty sure it was the original too)
Robert Miles - Children (oh god yes... yes yes yes... I think someone mentioned that they wanted to hear PvD - For an Angel instead, which is what EVERYONE was playing last year as their 'trance classic', and I kinda got annoyed because there are SO many classics to choose from)
A&B vs. Andy Moor - Air for Life (I always thought this track was such an 'opener', after hearing A&B open with it at Guv a couple of years ago.... but last night definitely proved it's a good closer too!!)

And I agree that the 'Armin' chanting was damn annoying... yes, I was impatient for Armin too, and I found Blake's set boring (it's not just about picking good tracks), but wait 'til Blake leaves the stage at least.

As for the overcrowding/pushing thing... it really depends where you were, the front was just nuts. I know there's another thread about this, and someone mentioned that it's just the way clubs are, i.e. miami, ibiza... and I have to disagree. I was in Europe last summer and did plenty of clubbing, including "Armin Only" at Amnesia in Ibiza (8-hour Armin set... and yes, it did kick ass), and it's nothing like Toronto. I think it really comes down to why people are there, and when you have a crowd of people who are all there for the music (e.g. if the club was full of just TA's), you get a much better atmosphere/experience.

Anyway, I'm pumped for Andy Moor tonight.. I love seeing DJ's I haven't seen before!
