That was one serious party ... AvB, MS, BJ & MO was on FIYA! Nobody could with these guys lastnight. Mixing & prog was on pretty much flawless. Vibe and Nrg was so positive, when the sound system sound cut off, everyone was cheering and clapping.

Hope everyone enjoyed their night, history in the making & if you missed out, I'm so deeply sorry.

omfg what a night. I can't even make up my mind which Armin I enjoyed more...BeB or Armada night...all I can say is every time I hear him I love him MORE AND MORE AND MORE AND MORE and MORE....;)

Just got back from Cherry Beach...wow it truly felt like summer was here when you hit the beach for some chills and choons. :toocool:

I have so many details about last night that I'll have to take my time for a proper review. Yes, Markus blew the doors off but I really needed my trance last night and Armin met the task with ALL my favorite tracks, including Love You More, Smack My Bitch Up, THE ANTHEM SONG!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! w00000000000000000000000000t!!!!!

And nothing else matters after that track! ;)

NADA THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR THE T-SHIRT!!! It was truly the fashion statement of the night!!! SOOOOOOOOOOOOOO many people asked about it, including this hot girl dancing on stage lol I felt like a king. :p

Time to let this broken back heal. SO MANY shout outs to come! ;)

it was a rather crappy night for me.

blake played and awsome set. armin was pounding.

but i'll be honest. im getting sick of this. same over and over. the crowed wasn't that great. alot of pushy people.

i think i am going to retire from the scene. its not the same anymore.

Ok up and ready to review...head still vibrating but that is ok, it'll pass.

Arrived around 10:30 and waited on a few people before going in. Line up was damn fast! thank you very much! got in and looked up at the big board to note the lovely set times we were all looking for! As I was getting in Blake Jarrell was already on, or had perhaps just even started? got right to the front and listened to him play, poor guy had equipment problems twice!! man what are the odds for your first gig in Toronto eh Blake? But I am not really into prog, he had amazing flow and was definately a great build up to begin the night, and he dropped a track I requested him to play, "I just wanna dance" so in cool of you dude thanks so much for playing it.

Anyways place starts to get a little more packed and pushy, (what else is new) and it is 12:40...what what? Armin was supposed to be on at 12 people!! my guess is things over ran from the start, people start chanting Armin Armin over and over the beat, now halfway into his set people are doing that? come on, not cool people, give the guy a little time...now ok Armin makes his heartbeat intro and begins with Rush Hour I believe, place is already jumping!

His first hour was decent, not an amazing start but was good to start, I am looking at my watch and it is only 1:30, crowd is already becomming pushy and people keep walking around like crazy, cutting through others while trying to feel the vibe, and of course the sketch Asians are in full effect...(still don't like them very much) but of course this is the only club in all of Toronto that will let them in cause they paid to get in, already humping the speakers, now I know why they never dance.

I begin to text my GF and wonder if she is still up(doesn't live far from there) so up till 2:30 we were texting eachother, I was figuring night was ok, then as I was moving closer and closer to the front, Armin begins to drop some very good tunes that get me going like no tommorow, like Megashire, Louder, and more...though I doubt any of the people where I was knew this stuff as they just stood there, so I bounced around like a madman to get them away from me as they did.

3 am hits and damn he was hittin hard! plays ANTHEM! the ing place just went off!! that was my go crazy in Kool Haus moment for the night, man that was purely amazing. Then he drops Stoneface and Terminal - Supernature after! getting closer and closer back to the front, just hit after hit if I could remember much of the songs, plays Durant's remix of Smack my Bitch up, place goes nuts once again. He then starts winding down the night with blissful hits as Love you more was played, very cool the way it was arranged I will admit, and then drops Tyas remix of Children...that club should have come to a stand still for that track in respect that it got us where we are today..but nooooo still morons walking around getting in the way ruining the vibe, but was still great...have no idea what song he ended with as I am sure I heard it before. Comes to the front shakes everyone's hands, signs half a dozen cell phones(poor guy didn't know what to do) did his bow to the crowd and gracefully departed sending us into the early hours of the morning(well he got off at 4:45 actually)

Markuz comes on and starts ripping that place hard, he was really good, didn't stay for his entire set as I was just completely drained after Armin's set.

Met up with people I know, met new people, met some nice people and met some not so nice people, will just leave it at that, I don't think many were in the mood to talk, then again neither was I, I just wanted to enjoy the music and have a good time.

I will say this though, of all times I have seen Armin, this probably had to be the best I have ever seen him do, didn't lack any vibe, the place was in full effect, which I rarely see there.

All in all a good night....and now a pleasant day :)

Honestly, this is part of the reason Armin has lost it. WTF. A transition like that is such a buzzkiller. I hope for the sake of everyone the whole set wasn't like that, but I wouldn't be surprised if it was.

I refuse to accept your resignation. See you in court.

:p

Srsly, though, there's too much at stake if you don't attend :(

I had fun, more or less, minus all the pushing and stomping all over my feet, and telling ppl to off lol

The ticket price on the door was pleasantly surprising, and so was the line-up, which got my friend and me pretty excited for the night

I think we walked in around 9.30-9.45, so heard a bit of MO (IMO nothing exciting), socialized with the TA's a bit, took some pictures. Then BJ came on - I would give him a 6/10, was not really feeling his set, and found his track selection all over the map

I liked the way they did a heart beat line before Armin came up, definitely felt like a bit of a countdown :) not sure what track he dropped first, but I liked his recent track selection, quite a lot of stuff from recent ASOT's, i.e. Mr. White, but otherwise his set left me wanting for more. He def was pounding out way harder then I anticipated, not sure if I like that or not yet....aaand we pretty much left around the time he was done, tired like hell, not from all the dancing but from all the pushing

Great seeing the Cambridge boys (Brant and Dan and Rob), my new partner in crime Jeff, Ben (so good to see you again, even briefly!), Nada and Ali (Nada, babe, sorry again for scaring you like that!:D), Fahad the Armada Devil, Palm Tree, Daniele, Dannie, gek0 (Happy Birthday once again!) and others who I saw briefly

All in all an OK night.
