Geez where to begin...
The only people who can complain about the crowd and pushiness are those who have never been to an event at Guv/KH before, for those who have been to the zoo you should be expcting this. Besides, there were plenty of areas with space, even up at the front in some areas.
Imho, Armin started off his set quite slow and I wasnt really into it for the first hour and half. But at around 2:45 the ch00nage began. By 3:30 my feet were moving and my hands did not leave their fixed position reaching for the ceiling. I just couldnt help it, he was dropping some bombs.
I must know the track he played at 3:40-3:50.....simply epic.
Robert Miles - Children. are you kidding me? I just closed my eyes and took some deep breaths. It was great.
Highlight of the night - Some huuuge bouncer outside trying to get some 50 yr old asian's attention "HEY! CHUNG WONG! GET OVER HERE" i found it funny....:haha:
Overall I had a great night, Armin delivered, not his biggest fan, not gonna get my damn cell phone signed by him, but he plays some nice sounding music and had me dancing hard at times. Left just before Shultz, guess ill have to see him another time.
P.S. anyone see that guy holding 2 $20 bills out at Armin all night? I dont understand, was he trying to get money signed?
P.P.S. A party first - - - saw some couple blowing this menthol, nose inhaler type thingy all over each others faces (one of those things your supposed to inhale for a stuffy nose, like Vicks or soemthing) then my friends got in on the action. Out of curiosity i had to try it out. Asked her for just a bit, she blows this all over my face and mouth. My face felt cold and tingly for like half an hour. I felt like a walking Halls. |

yea first time someone did it to me i almost killed them. some sketchbag comes up and asks if i trust him... before i could answer, he sprays that stuff on my face and it went cold and tingly and numb... i thought he had drugged me or something.. and starting freaking out and chased after him. finally caught up to him and he apologized and said he shouldnt have done that and told me what it was. pretty trippy feeling and i dont recommend it for noobs as i was. |
