OH MAN what was with the s... im standint in front by the speakers.. some friggin guy comes up .. pushes me out of my spot.. so i push him back and he has the balls to tell me to keep my hands where they belong.. i woulda en knocked him out right there if i was about to leave already but didnt feel like getting kicked out.. ahhhh |

Solid night out, great seeing everyone, esp good because i didn't expect to even be able to go out.
BJ: Had some solid proggy stuff, although the timing was off and lost the crowd several times.....strange to mix prog with fluff, not really my thing but i enjoyed it.
Armin: Standard trance set i guess, bring back the old armin thou please, set lacked a certain "magic" that i've heard previously.
Markus: definitely the set of the night, i *heart* prog trance. Although some of it is more suited imo for chill listening rather than crazy partying. I've heard better sets from markus, but i enjoyed this throughly.
Hopefully i can start getting out again more often, weekends off ftw! |

Re: the pushing, I almost got into a fight with someone because when I told him not to shove his way in front of me and walk behind me and the few people I was dancing with, he just pushed me right across the dancefloor, and of course I couldn't let that go unpunished. Then a whole bunch of TAs got into the middle of it and broke it up. Tricky T, you're the man...will have a proper shoutout in my review ;)
All through the night people were just barrelling by without apologizing or any care whatsoever. Catalina, Ania, poor Paula, so many people were just shoved around and I could see their grimaces and I felt so bad because I hate seeing my friends' vibe/buzz getting killed. So I'd get pissed and shove those people around. Anyway, those moments certainly took away some of the pleasure for me but the highlights of the night made it worth it for me. :D |
I know what you mean..I got sick of that too, thats why I dont attend events with only one or 2 rooms open, whole complex or bust..seen everyone already as it is.
I like to glowchuck and when dudes insist on walking through me, there will be drama...luckily there hasn't been all these years except once or twice..maybe I got mistaken for a sketchty asian as we are referred to on this post!! hehehe |

Yeah i agree about the part of markus showing alot of energy, it was great seeing him hoppin around often, was really into it!!
Only thing is that the first maybe 1/4 maybe even 1/2 of his set diddnt really get me so interested....but the rest was wow |

it really sucked that blake jarrell had to start over again... TWICE :S ... playing the death cab song over again that was already mostly played before the 2 minutes of silence was kind of annoying. and yeah it was crowded and there were s (like some random meathead that purposely walks in my way in the empty gallery trying to start ), and nasty sweat dripping on our heads, but you have to expect that at a big event like this...
armin killed it like i expected with the epic trance... but schulz definitely made my night, it was way beyond what i thought it would be, especially around and after the point he was playing air conditionne...
overall was definitely my best guv night (out of 4 lol).. was nice meeting a few TA's, will see you guys again soon. and how amazing was it walking out in the early morning to this weather? |
