BARRIE, Ont. — Police in Barrie, Ont., say they believe they have found the body of a 15-year-old boy who went missing after fighting with his parents about his video game system.
Sgt. Dave Goodbrand says hunters in an area northeast of Barrie found a body this morning believed to be that of Brandon Crisp.
The teen was last seen Oct. 13 after he ran away from home following an argument with his parents over his obsession with an Xbox video game.
The boy was sighted twice the day he disappeared, and his bicycle was found Oct. 20.
A massive aerial, marine and ground search effort began Oct. 19 in the Shanty Bay area, in the general direction Brandon was believed to have been heading.
But no trace of the boy was found at the time.

Very sad.
I wonder if the parents will be charged now. They suffered enough, I hope not. But looking at the bright side, many parents have learned from this. |

That's what I'm wondering.
I haven't followed it to closely, so there may have been new evidence, but I'm not sure what the parents would be charged with..
some type of negligence or something?

Theres no way they can be charged with anything... The kid ran away from home... its not like they are legally responsible to physically stop him from running away or something
btw I wonder what happened to this kid? did he just run away into the woods and get lost and couldnt find his way back? or would it even be suicide...? |
