The parade & festival are free. A donation ($10 or so) is asked when you enter the festival grounds at the end of the parade route, but that's it. The donation is used to cover all the permit costs, cleanup, etc. LovEvolution Parade & Festival are non-profit.
Soooo, all you need to do is show up on Market St (main street through) downtown noon. The parade begins @ 2nd & Market between noon and 1pm usually and goes down Market & takes a right on Grove (which is around 10th Street?) where they go in a line around Civic Center Plaza (video below) and settle where the partying goes until until after 7pm...

Although coulda sworn DaveT posted that DJ Dan/D.G. were confirmed.
Perhaps glaude is gonna get so high in mexico he can skydive to SF.

Donald's myspace page has him listed for L.E. and am only has Donald and Dan for a 2x4 set.

I never said anyone was confirmed. I said the source of that info and it's from their agency, AM Only.
As in, AM Only posted the gig on their own site. Just as the SF Party Calendar states (note: I ran the calendar for years before handing it over to Rich after my son was born since it does take time to keep up to date), don't take anything as 100% confirmed unless the Promoter or Club itself announces it. And even then, tey jump the gun early sometimes too.
Anyhow, you don't see it happen too often these days (used to happen all the time), agencies sometimes post dates while things are still being negotiated, and then something happens at the last second that causes everything to fall through. But it usually happens with international DJs...and while most of the time I have no clue why, the one thign I see that stands out that happens more than anything else is that the DJ will have seperate agenies that handles their bookings in different countries (usually USA vs Rest of World), and there's some type of miscommunication and each agency ends up booking that DJ somewhere. So he/she ends up being booked to play different parts of the world on the same night. So one of the places that booked the DJ gets screwed.

Geeze, stop taking everything to the extreme.
Just because he said they are two months behind in one area doesn't mean they aren in another.
For example, for all you know the lineup could have been seet weeks or a months before it was announced last year...so if they got a late started this time around, they just lose that buffer.
