Compared to last year's lineup pace, we're 2 months behind. If we had complete control of the preparation process needed for this kind of event ahead of time, the artists would have been released by now. If everything went the way we wanted it to, there would have been 100+ artists by this time.
It's extremely difficult to get everything on the same page when the city and industry politics go through drastic changes every year, while coordinating with 50+ promoters who handle the responsibility of the bookings.
It would be great if there was a simple formula to this every year |

as far as the after-party goes JOC and Job O bir are confirmed to play adding pvd to the lineup would be soo amazing! now lets get ferry,eddie or John askew to be there too! I would never leave that stage! |

wasn't his appearance at etd.POP supposed to be an exclusive 2009 appearance in Northern California?
Either way, who knows....he isn't with PAM DJs anymore...maybe things have changed.
He played here a TON the past few years so he might be taking a break from SF...you'll see a DJ take breaks from cities for some reason sometimes. Reemember when Diggers didn't play in SF for a few years in the early-mid 2000s, and when was the last time he has done a club gig in SF (not counting S&D at the warfield)? |

That said, his agency lists him as playing at the Bill Graham Civic Auditorium, so it sounds like he's a part of the afterparty. |

I think for a lot of people it will always be LP or LF. Going to the first SF LP, I called it that for a couple more years.
