There should be! I try and do one every year.. but last year no one really showed :( (FAIL)
Do you think meeting more in the center at a later time (like 4pm) would work better.
I am making my signs and hearts in the next 2 weeks. I can make one for TA no problem. Can someone bring a Stick and some tape or staple gun so I can post it on there so I can hold it higher???? |

should make it by the listed or even taj's float but guess i could stop by skills/spundae's float when menno is playing if im not too faded... last year i dont even remember the floats much :o |

the couple times i've tried to make it to these meetups, it took 15 minutes to make it through the crowd... and that was 15 minutes after noticing i was already 15 minutes late.
some thinking out loud: 4pm should be good because it's before people might scatter away to see their favorite headliners (and while gilbert can still walk). local love/ taj's float is usually where we end up seeing the most familiar faces anyways. easier to meet to the left/right of a float than in the center where a landmark might be difficult to find. everyone could text message a few people reminding them 15 min before.
anyways...

I don't even bother planning anymore, in the past 5 years it's never gone the way I've tried.
Because....
- You'll run into people you haven't seen in forever, even people you know in other moments of your life but didn't think you'd see at this event
- Run into all your good friends and familiar faces
- 10 crazy things will be happening in front of you while you're trying to glance at the 10 crazy things happening behind you
- You'll meet all kinds of cool new people
- Of course there's the music to distract you
etc etc etc etc
Amongst the madness that is this day, who has time to pay attention to time? :haha: |

Well I really want to meet a few of you!!!!
Bigperf! I want to meet you! I will be looking on here for
clothing plans the day of, and I think I already know what I want to wear. A sign would be great! I will def say hi to whoever is holding a sign!!!! I'm volunteering that morning too so I might catch some of you there....

I'll be perched around/in front of/maybe on the S/S/RS float, cheering on my girl Fei-Fei for sure... but I'm just an East Coast TA, don't mind me :tongue2
any word on where ATB's going to be playing in the parade, if at all? I still haven't seen his name after it disappeared from the local love float lineup. |

Yes, there is a private party at 4fourteen (new upstairs room [club?] at Ruby. Used to be the smoking room.) Sunday night.
I will be back in LA come sunday night so I will not be able to go.
And no, I can't get you in. If I could, I would. sorry!

I'd say ATB is not playing at the parade. he was supposed to last year but didn't then either. |
