we tried donations for years and people just weren't giving them. with as many people that showed up last year, it was an unsustainable model relying on people's generosity to make this event bigger and better. |

I find it insane that EVERYONE wouldn't donate for this! :whip: :conf: $10? Buy 2 less beers, 1 less pack of cigs, etc.
Each year my Wife and I give over the "suggested" price. I mean really; ALL that music and fun for free with all the work that goes into the event?
Makes me sad.

I don't think anyone on TA or any full on EDM fan has an issue paying the $10.
What remains to be seen is the reaction to those who go not realizing there is a fee required. I can see a lot them being uspet even if they go ahead and pay to get in.
Hopefully not though. I just always assume the worst will happen...that way, things can only be better than expected, if anything. |
