well, it does seem to be working to keep a perpetual buzz around Sat nights.
With the layout of the club and the location of the DJ booth - it's not really setup for 'DJ Worship' anyways. |

I guess they're letting us know that they're watching us tying to foil their plan.
When they put up a post about their new concept yesterday on Facebook, all 10 comments were negative. I wonder if they're watching that too. |

At first I thought the idea was alright but I am starting to think it's terrible. It really eliminates any toursists from travelling to Montreal to visit Stereo. Sure some may come just for the club but a lot of people travel based on the DJ that is playing.
The idea might work a little later on once Stereo has re-established itself but right now it's pretty risky and I can see it failing big time. |

"I think gimmick or not Stereo is moderately ok for time being. Ppl want to hit up something fresh and right now the novelty of the new Stereo is good enough for business, imo. I'm sure there's a big segment outside the forums/FB that could care less about the actual dj and just want to dance to some house at Stereo (personally, I'd like to know ahead of time, as I've stated on here a few times).
"That said, I don't think they will stray from the tried and true list of djs for those Sat nights, so you'll see a few familiar names for sure."
