March 06 - Martinez Brothers
March 13 - (TBC)
March 20 - Chus & Ceballos
March 27 - Chocolate Factory (Joeski, Onionz, Sameer) (NICE!) |

| I'm psyched for the Chocolate Factory night. I didn't know they still worked together under that name. Sick NY house. |

Lawler is good, its not that, I just don't think that tech house sound really fits in afters.... meh |
I'm sorry but if tech house doesn't fit in afters, I dunno what does... |

| Stereo needs to start booking something other than NYC house IMO. |

I think the exact opposite... I really hate the direction Viva and Lawler took since last year. Non-stop tribal with African chants that sounds teh same than a few years ago...
I saw him twice since and he didn't have that dirty edge, and it wasn't as exciting as before. I like tracks like Violet and Courses for Horses way more than Komba Komba. Everything Viva released since last september is a borefest. |

Apparently the first time those guys played there, they didn't know it was an afterhours and they didn't want to play a late set. Is that true? |

I agree completely, I think this tribal tech house is a good sound and it fits well in club hours..
But these tracks don't compete with VIOLET... Courses for Horses, even Codeface.. the darker, proggier sound of Courses for hourses and Codeface... just make me drool. |

Im not really a huge fan of many of the Viva productions...but the sets I've caught from Lawler lately I've really enjoyed....I guess it depends where you see him. I would imagine Lawler at Stereo would be quite the show though! I caught him there the first time I ever went to Stereo for Canada about 5 years ago and was hitting the fan...
He played well last time he was at This is London in Toronto and at Blue Parrot in Playa Del Carmen for BPM i really enjoyed the set aswell... |
