But seriously it was an amazing night... best tribal/tech house I have heard so far in 2010. Best music I have heard at Stereo since it opened.
Now If I were to be REALLY REALLY critical I would add that some people did find it a little repetitive listening to the same thing for hours , however they did an amazing job regardless.
Technically perfect and brilliant track selection, some sick sick remixes. I would recommend seeing these guys live... a solid performance!
And combined with the live dancers I would have to say that this was the closest thing to what I saw in Ibiza , the music and the performers really reminded me of Spain. Good job Stereo! |

I have never been to Ibiza, but seen many a picture, video... and this is exactly what I said to my friends that night.

C&C were amazing as always. Such a great set these guys weave together. The darkness and tribal did hit around 330 or so... I remember this as when the drums kicked in I was wow'd it was so soon so I looked at the time... Not usually the biggest fan when Cebellos steps up, but he did a great job at speeding up the tunes and bringing the momentum up higher every so often to a room that just exploded.
Left around 845ish... did not want to but my buddy's legs were collapsing...
(((C&C))) ftw....
Stereo has such an incredible vibe/ambiance/and simply an incredible party, that whenever I end a Stereo weekend party, the adventure lingers all week long and just makes me smile. Can't wait to return again soon.....

Yes I have to say for 2010 Stereo is #1 for the best sound and having the most positive "peace and love" vibe in Montreal.
I stayed til close ( last track C&C played was approx 11am ) so I could get a photo with them in the DJ booth... wow that's one fantastic looking DJ booth!!!
I arrived before 5am so the dark tech house and tribal was already in full swing so that was just right for me.
The best tracks IMO was after 7am... |
