| I love the new "guess the dj" saturday's but I'm sadly not a fan of every single house dj and not all weekends I'm available to go party till 10 am :(. Usually when I find out in advance that a certain dj is hitting our after-hour dancefloors, i try to get my prepared for that night. Nice idea, but not suited for everyone. Hope that Eric Prydz will there one day...but yet again no way to know... |

i think it will be tough to book a big dj (who was not associated with stereo before) without any dj-focused promotion, etc.
this whole concept can only work if saturdays are packed; and we all know the main clientele of stereo - if they are not happy, stereo isn't making $$$
so i expect a rotation of c&c, vibe, romero, etc. |

| My take on this whole concept is that they start by putting in a couple big names the first few Saturdays, get the clientele's expectations up, then start putting in DJs with far smaller booking fees, but occasionally slide a big act back in to keep up the hype. It would definitely keep costs down, but will the punters keep coming? |

| I fkn hope it's not him. I don't think that any sane man would eveN have the idea of booking the rat. My guess is that the dj who will play will have a residency, like Roger. And in order to have a residency u need to be a face familiar to stereo. Don't think it's gonna be a huge surprise. And besides, I walked in on Sat and couldn't even see who was playing, the booth is too goddam high. But I had the best time ever, stopped caring at some point! |

| I agree, we can have some surprise, but look in the past 2-3 years and expect the same big name at Stereo is a reality...Farina,Carter, Sanchez as well, Calderone just to name few. It's a guess, but hope not a lot of people get dissapointed. |

People talk. It's going to be known in advance from word to mouth, as soon as it's a big name. Montreal is really small. |

I really enjoyed my time at Stereo on Sunday despite the fact people were consistently trying to sell me extasy and/or speed.
Roger Sanchez played good music and I hope I will see him again soon.
